Lovely character home, very tastefully furnished, very helpful hosts. Superb location and a bonus of a pedal boot which was great to use in this location. We all had wonderful time.

Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

A beautiful place to switch off and relax. Nothing is missing, the house is comfortably furnished and very clean. The sauna and the whirlpool make every vacation a little better. I'd love to come back.

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Quick communication with the host, everything as described. Convenient parking and road connection to other towns. Very well-equipped kitchen. Complete equipment of the apartment.

We (5 friends+1 dog) had very nice days at the place. Great quiet rural location - surrounded by nature. Nevertheless, the way to Amsterdam is quick and easy (small tip: there is a ferry). Victor and his wife are very friendly and uncomplicated. So if you need some peace but still want to quickly get to the city or do other activities, this is the place to be. Edam and Volendam are also highly recommended. In addition, a day trip to the North Sea is also worthwhile ;-) We will be happy to come back.

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I've never seen so many dogs. All on a leash and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes walk you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the leash. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq , is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

A week of relaxation among the bustle of the birds. In rainy weather, there is plenty of space inside and in nice weather a very pleasant garden to sit in. Nearby, there is plenty to do, shops are close. Everything is available to cook for yourself. Baking pizza in the pizza oven was also fun to do. Definitely recommended. We felt comfortable.

Great place and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything worked out for us ☀️

Fred's place is a real gem, right on the water, with beautifully done interior. The local beaver swims by every evening and you can enjoy the lovely exterior seating area on the water. Showering outside was something new for me, but if you time the shower between the boats passing it is a great experience and still private. You could opt to bring some swim clothing to solve the boat issue. A great place to relax on the water. There are no curtens, so bring a small sleep mask if you want to sleep in.

We had a lovely stay. We were able to check in a little earlier, for the children everything was already present in the cottage. It was beautifully clean and equipped with every comfort!

Accommodation with lots of activity nearby (walk, tour, hike, restaurant). Private garden perfect for bringing a dog! I would recommend it!

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

Great stay in the nature

A super cozy accommodation in quiet surroundings. Dogs are welcome and the adjacent forest is within 5 minutes walking distance. The accommodation is super equipped (toaster, dishwasher, hair dryer, spices, etc.) and even coffee for the coffee machine was available. The large garden offers sun all day, in the accommodation the temperature was pleasant even at 30° outside temperature. Most attractions and cities in the area can be reached within 30 minutes by car.

We had a lovely short vacation in the house with the number 8. The house is beautiful, as good as new and chicly furnished. We only have two info points for future vacationers: The mattresses are quite soft and in one bedroom it is not completely dark due to the small window in the bathroom. These are not real criticisms, just a note for sensitive guests.

Super stay in a cute , cottage, beautifully decorated and everything top furnished👍🏻 could earlier in the cottage and super explanation about everything . We were kindly welcomed, was nice to have been here, together with our dog, walked to the beach opposite, only had to put the 35 kilo dog over the gate 😂 Thanks Sharon for a wonderful stay 👍🏻

We had a wonderful stay at Bart and Carole's guest house. They were very warm and welcoming and really happy we were there. They were very reachable if had questions or issues. They even arranged a full cleaning half way through our stay for a fee for the cleaner. The unit was perfect for us, a party of two, for three weeks, a home away from home. It was walkable to shopping, dining, and the grocery store, great location. When we come back to the Netherlands we will be checking on the availability of this wonderful home.

Divya is a wonderful person who helped us with everything we needed. She advised us on the best things to do, both around the house and in Amsterdam and Utrecht. He also welcomed us into his house and offered to take care of us in Syrax while we were visiting Amsterdam. What a wonderful place! Surrounded by greenery and flowers, awakened by the birds. Plenty of space with a beautiful decor. Great opportunity to hike and bike in the nature in the area. Good tips from Jeannette and Frank, for example.

Nice host, easy to reach and good communication throughout. We had some special requirements for our stay which were accommodated without any issues. The host also left some lovely extra touches for us in the accommodation. The accommodation was tucked away in a beautiful garden, comfortable and nicely equipped. We would love to come back here.

This place is a real treasure. The house itself and the garden are absolutely beautiful, very cozy and clean and everything is attended to. Right from the beginning you can see and feel the love and work that Rose is putting into it. You‘ll find a lovely place in lovely surroundings out in the Dutch country side, but still close to everything „touristic“ you might want to do and see. The place is also perfect if you travel with your dog, since it‘s fully fenced and there‘s beautiful walking possibilities all around you. Rose and her family are very friendly, welcoming and always helpfull if needed. In short: We really enjoyed our stay together with our dogs and can fully hearted recommend it to anyone, anytime.

We were 6 people for two nights in this fantastically beautiful accommodation. The space is completely sufficient, with a large living area and 2 extra separate sleeping berths with double beds. The house is very special and an absolute highlight. In addition, the landlords are extremely helpful and nice. Thanks for the wonderful time we were able to spend with you :) we will definitely come back
