The house is situated in a quiet location and has a terrace and a large woodland garden. This pretty natural environment offers several possibilities such as uwalks, bike rides and visits to various cities and villages, castles, gardens and museums. Near to the apartment is the Henschotermeer, a natural pond in the middle of hills surrounded by white sandy beaches and green sunbathing area.

Sonja's place is perfect for a get away or just to stay for ever! we went for a weekend with my husband and 15month old baby girl. Sonja's house in the woods was perfect, she even left us cold beer, sparkling water and a nice white wine. The bed is supper comfortable and the house has everything you need. There is a farm nearby with goats and bunnies, also two playgrounds and lots of nature. There is a lake nearby too. Fully equipped, such as shower and toilet, but also jacuzzi, sauna and tennis court. As a bonus breakfast on the veranda overlooking the flood plains of the Lower Rhine, where cattle, horses and deer graze. In short, a delicious and recently completely renovated studio.

Overall, you get exactly what you see in the photos; a beautiful, stylish, comfortably furnished apartment with a pretty outdoor area and private entrance and parking space. However, the access to the sauna is just as small as can be seen in the photos, in short everything that weighs more than 90 kg inevitably burns your stomach or bottom. The box spring bed is very comfortable and sufficient for two people. The entire apartment is controlled by air conditioning electronics and can be warmer or colder if required, the bathroom is not heated. The whirlpool is huge and offers a beautiful view of the Lower Rhine, but may only be used half. If you sit in the jacuzzi in the living room of the hosts, you have to like it. There is now a beautiful outdoor heater that completes the wellness experience at low temperatures. Norbert and his wife are always available to answer questions and are happy to provide tips for trips around the area. Our highlight here was the eastern plaza which is within walking distance. The breakfast is very extensive, nothing is missing and can be topped up if you wish to stay for several days.”
On the Utrechtse Heuvelrug between the Cape Forest, the Leersumse Veld / Leersumse Plassen you will find this special place. This lightly decorated cottage is fully equipped. A kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, separate toilet and a living room with a great view. It is not uncommon for a deer or a hare to look at the house. This cottage is the perfect starting point for walkers and cyclists. But is also suitable for relaxing.
