Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Downers Grove

Beautiful setting close to everything I needed to do. Quiet and peaceful Everything promised and pictured was accurate. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Loved being on the Fox River with the geese, ducks, squirrels and rabbits.

I enjoyed my stay here which enabled me to be close enough to Northwestern’s campus as I worked on a writing project. Being minutes from downtown Wilmette was a plus—be sure to check out Saint Roger’s Abbey bakery for wonderful French pastries! The house was neat, tidy, and matched the description. I also appreciated the record collection!

The stay was great. My kids absolutely loved the ample space and the proximity to downtown Chicago.

I immediately felt right at home! I had such a wonderful stay, it’s a really great area with lots to do. It was a safe, cozy, friendly neighbourhood. The house was clean, spacious, nicely decorated, with all amenities working. Great walking distance to downtown with lots of wonderful restaurants, shopping, and a grocery store. I would definitely stay there again!

Juan was not only a great communicator but his home was beautiful and centrally located. If ever in the Chicago/Burbank area would definitely love to rent.

Thomas was the perfect host. Great communication and the place had a ton of very comfortable beds. It's the PERFECT place for a bridal party to do hair and makeup. LOTS of natural light and a huge island made it perfect for our girls to get ready. Plenty of seating and a great backyard and hot tub. It was great that there was so much parking, too! Thank you so much for hosting us!!

We had a great stay! We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here with a couple of her friends and everyone loved the house. All the rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Hosts responded quickly and were accommodating.

The home is really nice and clean. We appreciated the instructions all over the home. There was even a folder with important info and instructions. We appreciated the extra pillows, blankets, and towels. The home is well stocked with whatever we needed during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. The hosts are amazing at responding quickly and answering our questions. Also, they are very flexible and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for a family with children. There are books and board games to keep the kids entertained.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Perfect for two people. This place is really cute and unique. Love the decor and seeing all the cool art projects. This place was within a couple miles of all the places we wanted to see, especially Soldier Field, so a Uber/taxi ride was cheap and very convenient. Super cute neighborhood too with beautiful row houses both modern and original. It is a nice quiet neighborhood as well and we felt very safe! We would recommend the Iklektik/Blue Jay house to anyone visiting Chicago that wants a comfortable and cozy experience!

Paul’s place was perfect for my large group coming to a conference at North Park University. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor common spaces as well as the multi-floor setup. Would definitely book again!

We stayed on the third floor of the complex and enjoyed Matthew's attention to detail. He gave a lot of thought to all components of his property.

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! We had a great stay at Stephanie’s squeaky clean apartment. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, about 1 mile from Downtown Evanston. The kitchen was very well appointed and the snacks were appreciated. Stephanie has lots of local restaurant recommendations. Stephanie went above & beyond when she loaned us a tire pump when we had a flat tire & recommended a local garage.

The house is decorated very warmly and is fully equipped. The host also thoughtfully prepared many little snacks. The check-in process was convenient, and communication with the host went smoothly. Highly recommend staying here!

Super cozy, great for a one-night trip into town for a concert! Daniel was super helpful in terms of recommendations, and very responsive. Would happily book if we are ever in the area again! Great host and great property. Loved the chickens!

This was our family's first time doing any sort of "camping" (we had a cabin, did not bring a tent, so it was technically "glamping") but it couldn't have been a better time. Sylvia and her team all worked together to make sure everyone had a great time--whether staying in tents, in campers, or in cabins. There were fun activities throughout each day, the community bathrooms were cleaned throughout the day and night, the pool was nice, all the amenities such as the playground/gaga pit, jump pad were photographed and described so we knew just what to pack. There was a phone number you could text if you needed more firewood delivered (even after hours) which was REALLY nice. My kids LOVED the little store most of all...lots of basics like foil/firewood/milk/butter/aspirin to buy at reasonable prices as well as really great collection of well-priced toys and gems the kids loved shopping for. It was easy to say yes! Overall, it was a wonderful time and my kids said they want to go again!

This place was amazing and it was just getting ready for the change of seasons so the outside continued to get beautiful each day we were there. We saw deer every day and staff was very responsive. You get everything in the idea of a rustic stay but with modernized touches. Highly recommend seeing it for yourself.

Absolutely loved staying at Sylvia's! The camper is very conveniently located within the park - close to all the amenities and activities! Easy to access, beautiful grounds and a very peaceful stay for my family and I.
