The Strandheim farm is located 532 m above sea level in Kjøremsgrende, in the southern part of the mountain village of Lesja. The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. Elva Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås. You have the staff all to yourselves. Nice and peaceful accommodation with a central location at the foot of Jotunheimen. Modern cabin with good standard. The cabin is nicely located with good parking facilities and right next to the ski resort. It is a short walk to Lemonsjøen Fjellstue where good lunches and dinner dishes are served, here is also bike rental and many great trails nearby. Kalven Sæter urban coffee bar is also worth a visit. Only a short drive away from the cabin are famous hiking destinations such as Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen and Glittertind.

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg

The historical farm Nigard Kvarberg is beautifully located with a panorama view of Jotunheimen, in the middle of the vibrant and authentic cultural landscape of the mountain village Vågå. You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm. The first floor is preserved as it was when the house was built, while the second floor is renovated securing our guests a comfortable stay. Welcome to farm!
