I had a wonderful stay. There has been some storm damage to the hut I was due to stay in so Linda called me and let me know she had plenty of other options and put me in a wonderful alternative hut. The hut was spotless, warm (with enough wood to keep me warm all weekend) and cosy. Linda was very friendly and responsive. Moonfleet is a beautiful place to spend some time away from normal life and feel in the country side. I can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing one-night stay at this Shepherd Hut with our puppy. Everything exceeded our expectations. The place is exactly as described and matches the photos perfectly. It was extremely clean, and the washroom facilities were spotless with hot water available even at midnight. Arriving late was no issue, which was very convenient for us. In the morning, we enjoyed delicious homemade bacon and egg baps along with fresh coffee. The site itself is beautiful, featuring a dedicated dog field at the end, which was perfect for our pup. The location is also great, being just a short distance from the seaside. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back!

Lovely hut inside and out, set within lovely gardens. Plenty of places to relax outside, especially the hot tub. We drove to the Bell at Broadway, lovely pub for food with plenty of options and majority can be gf too, including the home made pizza with a large selection of toppings.

Great place to stay, camping grounds are really tidy and inviting. The accommodation was super ! Clean and spacious and had everything we needed. Bit steep on the price, but for one night it did the job.

The cottage is very cozy and clean. Lots of greenery and beautiful nature all around. Perfect for a retreat in peace and quiet. Very clean toilets and showers. We recommend it to anyone who needs rest.

Lovely place to stay, really close to Poole and Bournemouth so easy to get around. The site was great, nice and peaceful!

We had a lovely couple of nights in the Everdene shepherd's hut. It was so peaceful, with stunning views. The hut itself was spotless, and spacious enough for the three of us ( 2 adults, one child ). The shepherd's huts are set aside in a separate area to the main camping pitches. It has a log burner and fire pit, with plenty of logs available. The shared bathrooms were very clean, modern, and spacious. We didn't have any real queries, but Linda was responsive to messages, and we met her in person after we'd arrived, when she seemed to be walking around the site, checking her guests were ok. Moonfleet Farm is a great location for exploring Dorset. The Fox pub is a 10 minute walk away, across a couple of fields. We plan to return in the October Half-term!

Stunning shepherds hut. Very relaxing comfortable place to stay. Wonderful watching the sheep in the field opposite. Lovely facilities. Highly recommended. Lots to do in the area! Stargazing in Hot tub was sublime! Would definitely stay again. Super quiet despite being on a local farm.

We loved this little shepherds hut with outdoor shower and toilet. It was in such a beautiful and peaceful location, and wish I had have stayed for longer! Thanks to Andrea who made us feel so welcome.

We really enjoyed our stay, the views were beautiful, of an afternoon we loved watching the deer. Most of the week was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and warm. The fires were brilliant. We had a lovely time.

The little hut was a dream! With some well placed trees its very easy to forget anyone else lives on this planet! There is lots of walking to be done from the hut, lots of animals, and natural beauty everywhere. The bath tub is MASSIVE, plenty of room for 2! We experienced all of England's weathers while there and come rain or shine its just a lovely place to be! There is a radiator in the bathroom and heater in the main room making for a very cosy little hut! Evie was an incredible host, allowing us flexi check in and out, and to bring our cat (a fairly unusual request!). We were welcomed with a big smile, and 2 very friendly well behaved dogs. Evie made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our trip. I'd defo recommend staying here! If you do, ensure you pack well, and come well stocked with food if you like us have no intention of getting in a car while there. Would defo visit again!

We recently stayed at Andreas Shepherd's Hut in Cruxton, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in a serene rural setting, the hut offers an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation was charmingly rustic yet comfortably modern and the interior was well-appointed with thoughtful touches that made it feel cosy and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable and the small kitchenette was equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay which we made the most of both mornings and evenings. The hut's location was perfect. Surrounded by apple trees and rolling hills, it's ideal for leisurely walks, relaxing outside with the fire pit or enjoying the private space alongside the river. The lack of light pollution in the area allowed us to view the Milky Way when stargazing one evening which was the perfect addition to our stay. Andrea was super accommodating, ensuring that everything was in order and even dropped off a homemade Dorset apple cake!

The shepherd’s hut was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The situation was idyllic on the outskirts of a Hardy-esque village with far reaching views and wildlife in abundance including butterflies, deer and barn owl. Pauline was a fantastic host and responded very quickly to any query and had some great ideas of things to do. We’d particularly recommend the circular walk to the knoll. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed for a long weekend and couldn't have chosen better! Easy walk into Corfe Castle for a wander and a meal, nice short paths nearby, easy to get to and drive out to see the Purbecks (and Nathan's recommendationswere spot on!). The hut is clean, it's not too spatious but the outside area really makes up for a lovely extra, and the bed was comfortable. We didnt need heating but it was all setup in case we did which was great! Our dog also really enjoyed the surrounding green space and being able to have a sniff around without being in others' space. Only thing I missed was no wifi - it is a shepherd's hut after all, but I needed to finish off some work and forgot to check if I'd have wifi for it. Even so would highly recommend Nathan's spot!

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

Well what can we say! Firstly we broke down on our way there, so we messaged Jason and he came and picked myself up with our luggage and took me to the hut while my husband waited for the RAC I must add he also offered to take me to the shop for essentials 😆. Amazing host great communication, friendly and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to make his guests happy!! The hut was a lovely little place where we stayed for 2 nights (wish it was longer) it was clean, fresh and had everything you would need. Amazing views too! Great little hut on the edge of the heathland, that perfectly suited a chilled night with our youngest son, he absolutely loved the hut, collecting wood for the fire and the rope swing . Perfect nights sleep had by all.

We had a lovely stay in Paul's shepherd's hut. The hut was great and the rural surroundings were idyllic. The alpacas were fascinating to watch. Paul was a great host and provided lots of useful suggestions and information regarding things to see and do locally.

My partner and I decided to be spontaneous one night and book a get away. This is our first time using air bnb or doing anything like this. I’m glad we chose this as our first trip! Robert was such a gentleman, the hut was clean and had everything we needed along with being well presented and the location was easy to find. All round great experience from start to finish. The stay was exactly what we wanted. Private, off-grid accommodation in beautiful surroundings. We were left to our own devices although the hosts were very responsive, if needed. We didn’t need anything though as their welcome pack is so thorough and informative. Was lovely to arrive to a pre-warmed hot tub and a bottle of their cider. Sleeping with the windows open and waking up to the bird song was such a wonderful start to the day. It rained the whole time we were there so we’d love to return in sunnier weather so we can make use of the picnic benches outside of the shop and enjoy a few ciders! A fantastic spot to get away from the noise in a beautiful location with great hosts. Would 100% return.

We're fans of shepherds' huts, and this was the best we've ever stayed in. Peaceful, private location with a great view of the castle. Very well equipped and decorated to the highest standard. Lovely welcoming touches, like the 'get you in' pack and the decent supply of wood for the stove. Very highly recommended.
