Monthly Rentals in Docklow

We had a lovely few days of peace & quiet at Camilla & Henry’s. Waking up to the birds singing and the fresh Herefordshire countryside air was just what we needed. Everything was perfect. It was easy to find with clear instructions. The facilities were great. And the homemade ginger biscuits & apple juice were a real highlight. We would definitely recommend, and hope to be back soon!

Mel was so lovely and friendly, and was perfect with our anxious rescue dog Eric who can be tricky with new people - he likes his space. We felt really at home and all the little extras for Eric - dog towels, blankets, treats and toys were lovely. The Annexe is in a lovely quiet spot with quiet dog walks within 1 minute, so this was perfect for Eric. And it is really well stocked with everything you'd expect in an Airbnb - it genuinely felt as though we were guests rather than a money-making venture. Mel even added some shopping for us that we'd forgotten to bring when she did her shop. Great host, very kind.

Fiona is a great host! We enjoyed staying in the Cabin at her farm very much! The most beautiful surroundings, very peaceful location. The highlight of the trip was cuddles with baby lambs Fiona had at her farm! Our dog had a blasting time playing with other super friendly dogs at the farm, and even tried to make friends with horses :) Lots of opportunities for hiking. Pub down the road had nice dinner options and great assortment of beers/ciders. Fiona is super friendly host, she showed us around, gave ideas and directions where to go for a hike, we enjoyed our stay very much and certainly wished it could be longer.

Such a lovely place to escape to in the peace and quiet of beautiful countryside. Walks from your door or further afield. Fab for dogs, secure garden and everything felt safe and comfortable. The fact that you have your own castle for a short period is a bonus 👸I have no hesitation in recommending West Lodge for your family and dogs. Although there is no wifi there is good signal to connect to mobile data outside and upstairs. Bromyard is a short drive away for any forgotten or additional items. I would love to return in the future.
