It is clean, comfortable, & uncluttered, a home away from home! It is surrounded by beautiful pines, in a safe neighborhood with accessible parking. Close by is the interstate with access to Iowa State Fair Grounds, and Downtown Des Moines. WP is attached to our home but it has its own separate outside entrance. Please send me any questions.

The 800+ sq ft space includes a private kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, and balcony with views of downtown. Picnic table and grassy area below balcony can be used on those nice Iowa days.

Jason is a great host, quick to respond, and very friendly! He has thought of everything and the shared house is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The other guests when I was there were great also which helps. But the WiFi was fast and worked great for remote working, everything was very clean, and overall a quiet, great experience. One thing to note is the room is upstairs so it can get pretty warm in the summer. But Jason was more than happy to keep the temperature low enough at night so I could be comfortable enough. This was much appreciated If im ever back in Des Moines, I’ll absolutely look for Jason’s listing first!

After a long trip into Des Moines we easily found a parking place, and with the instructions pretty much just walked right into the apartment with no effort at all. The apartment was awesome! Simple retro furnishings combined with the industrial construction gave the place just the right vibe to relax in and just felt, 'right'. Any time I thought I needed something, I opened a cabinet or looked in a closet, and there it was. And the view of downtown... wow. Everything else - parking was easy and felt safe. The apartment was right there after coming in - no long walks. Just a short walk down the hill and across the beautiful bridge to downtown. Lots of night life and great food just a few blocks away, yet distant enough that no noise followed you home. Looking forward to the next time I can take Diego up on his hospitality! Cheers!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Logan was responsive, kind, and made sure everything went smoothly. The location was perfect for all our appts and close to great places to eat. Really enjoyed resting on the porch with some hot tea.

Spotless room, bathroom, and home. Instructions were detailed and specific, which I appreciated. Room was easy to find based on description. I liked having a bathroom to myself. Instructions were provided for how to use the lamps, WiFi, location of usb/plugs. Friendly host; I appreciated being able to park in the driveway instead of on the street, but still, it’s a dead end in a quiet neighborhood so I would have been fine with on street parking too.
