This is a gem of a place, nestled high up with breathtaking views. Sarah is an excellent host, who gave precise and great instructions to get to the place. It is perfect for two people, with enough amenities within a cosy place. I highly recommend this place!

Debbie was friendly and welcoming, which was great as we'd had a very stressful journey. The annexe was clean and beds were comfortable, nice breakfast supplies in the fridge. We chose this place as it was in walking distance to visit family and it was perfect for this.

Louisa had explained that John and her would be taking a week-end break in Snowdonia but if we had any problems or questions to phone her.

Had an amazing time here with my partner. We loved the bed and walk in shower! Was sad to leave them behind 😂 beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. My soul took a deep breath here! Great location and easy to drive to places of interest. Well worth it! Anna was so kind and helpful, and really responsive. Thank you!

Comfort: The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the overall ambiance made my stay relaxing. The quietness of the area was perfect for those looking for peace. Spent one night here at Laura and johns place over the weekend, it was everything we hoped for! Lovely bottle of bubbly waiting for us when we arrived, very peaceful place, great hot tub and even better having a few games of pool and seeing all the ducks and chickens, would 100% recommend!

Sarah made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. The continental breakfast was much appreciated and saved us having to bring much with us. We didn’t need local guidance as we know Chester well, but it was available if needed. Fresh towels mid-way through our stay was a nice touch.

Regretfully I was only there for a short time as it was a brief stop over, but Tom and Hayley's place was stunning and in such a beautiful town - I wish I could have enjoyed it more fully. Both hosts were very helpful and communication was great. Exceeded expectations, highly recommend!

Wendy's property was gorgeous. Very homely and walkable to town. Great market on Thursday and Saturday in town. Nice walking track close to the property. Nice restaurants and close to public transport. Highly recommend you would not be disappointed.

We had a magical stay here. As soon as we arrived we felt instantly relaxed and welcome. Marcus was a super host and when we asked to use the fire pit for marshmallows he was kind enough to have it ready for our last evening. The area is not only stunning but in an ideal location to enjoy both the quiet and to explore local towns and trails. Our only regret is that we didn’t book longer. Sad to be home now but looking forward to returning again soon!

As many reviewers have mentioned before, Iain and Anne's farmhouse is located in Welsh countryside, surrounded by meandering hills, lush meadows, braying sheep with only the occasional car zipping by. This renders a perfect avenue to unwind, decompress and relax, in a way nature intended. Be wary of the highly temperamental weather though but not of the hospitality that the hosts offered. From tending to all our needs to giving a lambing tour, we highly recommend their lovely place!

We came here for a Babymoon hoping to get away from the hustle and bustle of Birmingham. And we got it - the area was scenic, tranquil and beautiful. A lot of the places we wanted to go to was drivable. Anna also had good recommendations for food and drinks - as we found out that Ruthin have different operating times compared to the rest of the UK 😂 So please go with Anna’s recommendations! Thank you again Anna for such a lovely stay! Also there is the friendliest dog on site - walked with me to the bins and back 😂

We had such a wonderful stay! The host, Angela, was incredibly friendly, loved to chat, and generously shared great local tips and restaurant recommendations. Their beautiful garden was a true highlight—we were lucky to sit and enjoy a lovely conversation there together. It truly felt like home. The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, making our visit even more special. We left feeling relaxed, welcomed, and already looking forward to coming back!

Our stay here was very good and extremely relaxing, and worked very well for my wife how was WFH all week. James was very welcoming and extremely proactive, met us on arrival and made sure we were able to settle in. We benefited from having the attached house empty all week so access to the garden added to the stay.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Chris's place. We celebrated Liverpool's Premier League win using the studio as a base to get in and out of town for the various events happening over the week. We also checked out some of the numerous great restaurants nearby. The studio had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and Chris was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for the second time and would love to return again.

Great location for work, very welcoming hosts.. Beautiful area for walking save the weather when I was there 😬 Comfortable, cosy offering a good nights sleep. All you could need for self catering. Hope to stay next time in the area
