Perfect cozy, quiet cottage with the best porch! Got lucky and had rain the entire time, there is nothing like a storm on a tin roof. Felt private even with neighbors. Would love to stay again!

Aften’s place was just what we needed for a night for our family of six and one puppy! The house was spacious and clean and the fenced in backyard was perfect. The only thing that we would have changed would be the noise level of the interstate and train tracks.

Overall Experience: Our stay at this Airbnb exceeded our expectations. The combination of cleanliness, amenities, location, and excellent communication made for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend.

Walking barefoot on the mossy carpet among the prolific fireflies under the towering forest trees was MAGICAL! Something to experience! We loved the charm of the home and perfectly stocked amenities! We cooked quite a bit and it was great. Everyone slept well and especially enjoyed coffee and cocktails in the screened in porch among the beautiful scenery! We’ll be back! Thank you Sharon!

We loved our stay at Ashwood House! It was so clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials. We sat by the fire each night on the cozy patio furniture and walked down the street to the Wildflower Cafe to eat some delicious meals. We hope to return next summer. Thank you!

Cary was an amazing host — very responsive and proactive with her communication. We hosted our bridal party at the Airbnb, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful, very spacious, and extremely clean. 10/10!

Amazing place to unwind after a busy semester of teaching. Jamie’s cottage is well built, comfortable, and above all quiet. We spent restorative hours listening to the birds on the front porch with our morning coffee and lying by the neighborhood pool next door. Jamie is an excellent host in that she gives her guests space and is quick to respond if an issue arises. I would stay here again, no question

Beautiful home! Perfect for a weekend with family and close friends. We loved that the home was walkable to the top of Desoto Falls but also only a short hike to the bottom view via trail. The loft and top rooms were magical and absolutely perfect for our tween kids and us parents loved the screened porch and outdoor firepit. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us. We also appreciated how clean it was and the basket of welcome snacks. Five stars!

Very relaxing stay! Although it rained all the days we were there, it was great family bonding time with many games played and time spent fishing when we could. The house was as advertised. Only a couple of minor things came up that in no way hindered our stay. It would be normal things that would happen at your own home. Roger was always quick to respond with answers to questions that we had and was very helpful during the booking process. All of our kids made the statement that they would rather come back and stay here than go on a big trip. If you’re looking to get away and enjoy family time, this place is perfect for just that! After we got passed Airbnb giving us the wrong code to enter the apartment we had no further problems and enjoyed our stay. The co-host Lorraine was very helpful. The train and highway traffic were annoying but, tolerable. We prefer more of a country setting. This apartment was in the suburbs so it was close to amenities, which was a positive aspect.

Claire and Bryan had the most absolutely adorable cottage ever. They’ve literally thought of everything from dishes, to hot plate and silverware, to coffee and creamer (plenty as well). They were so quick with responses and sending welcoming messages I was so wowed. I took away ideas for a future build even. The style and comfortability was so homey!!! I will be visiting again when we go back to visit family! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

This is the perfect stay for couples felt like home! Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The host was very responsive and polite. My first time booking an Airbnb and it was perfect!

Even though we only stayed for a night it was well worth it. With being in construction I really enjoyed the all wooded look. No matter how long you’re staying it’s definitely worth it.

The apartment is very cute in a great location with great amenities.
