This was the perfect place to relax!! The sunsets and scenery around the cabin are better in person than in the pictures posted. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We enjoyed slow mornings with breakfast on the front porch overlooking the valley. Sight seeing each day and then getting back early enough to enjoy the sunset in the hot tub. We enjoyed exploring the Desoto Falls area and Little River Canyon. We drove to Chattanooga and visited Rock City and Ruby Falls. Angie was so sweet to make us a reservation at The Elevation Bistro. Elevation is a quaint little restaurant with an outstanding chef. My favorite was the French onion soup and my husband loved his hamburger. We both thought the pecan praline bread pudding was next level. This was probably the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation I’ve had in a while. Spend the extra money on a good view….its well worth it!!

This cabin, is a slice of heaven wrapped in wood and wrapped again in vibes. It’s peaceful, transcendent even. Impeccable design; styled so well I started questioning every room of my own house. Every room looks like it was curated by a team of chipmunks trained at Parsons. But here’s the twist, the windows. Huge, panes of glass so clear, even mother nature was confused. The local birds? Not so much fans. They kept dive bombing the house like they were trying to stage a feathery coup. We lost count. Seriously, it was like living in a Disney princess movie… if the birds were drunk and had no spatial awareness. Still, it was the most serene, beautiful, refreshing stay we’ve ever had. We will be back. Highly recommend!

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. As it says in the description, it’s across the street from the lake and the dock is about a two minute walk away. The cabin is elevated so you have a beautiful view of the lake from the wrap-around porch. The porch itself was a favorite feature of mine, and I loved waking up early to drink coffee in one of the rocking chairs while looking out over the lake. The family loved the hot tub and it was plenty of room to fit all of us in it easily. I appreciated that it was warmed up and ready to go when we got there. We only stayed two nights, so the included amenities were plenty for us. We did a quick shopping trip nearby for food, and that was it. I can definitely recommend this cabin and we will definitely be back in the future.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin looked just like the photos. It was nice, clean, and very welcoming. The sunsets off the back porch were stunning. We will definitely stay here again.

First, David is fantastic to work with! Very responsive and helpful! Honey Hole was the perfect place for our fishing trip and we had a fantastic time. I will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Very updated, immaculately clean, and an excellent location near one of our favorite boat ramps. I would not hesitate to stay here again or any other of D&E Landing's properties!

This has easily been my favorite Airbnb stay to date! The home was thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could possibly need—and more. From extra fishing poles and tackle for a day on the water, to a fully equipped kitchen with a wide variety of cooking essentials, every detail felt carefully considered. The space was spotless, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. You can tell the hosts put a lot of heart into creating a comfortable and memorable experience. Whether you're relaxing indoors, cooking a meal, or heading out for some hiking, everything you could think of is right at your fingertips. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-appointed, relaxing getaway!

If you’re lucky enough to stumble upon this place, don’t hesitate. Tucked away at the very top of the mountain, this little getaway feels like a secret slice of peace & beauty. The views? Absolutely breathtaking. You can see everything—rolling hills, distant valleys, endless sky. It’s the kind of view that makes you stop & just breathe it all in. The cabin itself was perfectly cozy, with the cutest bear-themed decor that gave it a warm, welcoming charm. Every little detail was thought through & it all added to the peaceful, secluded atmosphere we were craving. It was exactly what we needed: quiet, beautiful, & grounding. We left feeling rested & full of gratitude. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reset.

Was the perfect getaway to enjoy nature and the Cloudland State Park was only 5mins away! We brought our dog and really appreciated how dog friendly they are. They even had a bowl set up for him on the screened in back porch. Every was very clean, well looked after, and supplied with cleaning products and the basics. Great attention to detail. The host even left trail maps and local information. The beds were also very comfortable! We even had a Alexa with thunderstorm music to fall asleep to. Just FYI this is one of many cabins here’s and they are fairly close together. Thankfully it was pretty empty when we were here. 😅 There aren’t too many restaurants in the area but we did enjoy some great Italian flour stone oven pizzas in lookout mountain and absolutely loved the stunning views and food at the Croft in the Cloudland McLemore Resort. They are also pretty dog friendly. Would stay again!

We have stayed in quite a few AirBnBs and this one is in our top 3 without a doubt! It was super clean. This place has all the little things you can think of (cooking oil, tin foil, baby high chair, etc.). The hosts left us snacks tailored for us and gave us a small gift as a keepsake of our stay in Mentone, AL. If you are wondering if it is worth the stay, I can 100% tell you it is. Eva should put on a Master Class of how to be an AirBnB host!!! Can't say enough good things about this stay!!!

The house was perfect for our stay. The location was nice and peaceful and the house was exactly as described! We loved the setup with the master downstairs and the main living upstairs! And we met the sweetest little kitty that lived in the area, He spent the weekend hanging out on the porch! They stay was perfect, house was great, would def stay here again if we are in the area!

The cabin is just as described and all amenities listed were there. The place was clean and well kept, and Marty even checked in on us when there was potential for inclement weather during out stay. I would recommend going and will likely be returning in the future.

My husband and I came to celebrate our first anniversary. We wanted a peaceful experience and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful views, comfortable furniture, great kitchen and we loved the claw foot tub. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Our wedding was at sweet seasons and we stayed at Aaron’s the have close access to family and be close to the venue. Was an easy quick stay and would come back anytime!

The place is awesome. The area is gorgeous with Little River Canyon and DeSoto Falls close by. The place had everything we could need. So much was provided that we didn't even get a chance to use everything. My daughter loved the arcade table and pinball. There were a ton of board games available and even a horse shoe pit for for outdoor play. The beds were comfy. The hot tub felt wonderful. It was so quiet and peaceful. A much needed retreat.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a wedding my husband and I attended. It was very clean and unique! I would definitely stay here when I find myself in the area again!

We had such a great time! Weather was cool but warmed up nicely and felt great! It was wonderful to not be on a schedule and enjoy some good family time. Loved seeing the nearby waterfalls and walking on the trails. The Mad Hatter was a fun place to eat and got some of the best cookies there. Loved the quaint Mentone Market and their pizzas were a hit! The Cabin was Perfect! Plenty of room and all the comforts especially after all the hiking! The Hosts was gracious and helpful and easy to text! We had such a fun time❤️

We had a great time. The cabin was very clean and spacious with plenty of sleeping and seating areas and lots of windows. The back view was nice with the river flowing by. You can use the deck or stand inside looking out all of the windows to watch the river. You can also walk down the hillside to the chairs by the river and even build a fire in the pit. We got to watch a group of kids paddleboarding by. The available canoe was a plus for us.

I had a fantastic stay, truly one of the best experiences I've had! Thomas was incredibly welcoming and made everything feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. All the thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed and really made the place feel like a home away from home. What really stood out was that Thomas took genuine interest, he even came out to an event I was involved in, which meant a lot and showed how much they care about their guests. It was awesome to share a bit of my hobby and have that kind of support. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place with a truly exceptional host.

Rachel's place was great we had a party of 7 and had plenty of room Very rustic. The kitchen was not as big as it looked in the pictures but she had everything you needed to do any cooking also made sure we had a crockpot. Great view of the lake. She was very responsive when I had a question. It could use a little TLC especially on the decks. If you like old rustic charm this is for you. The decks are huge and a fire pit but we didn't get to enjoy them as much as we wanted to because it rained almost everyday we were there.
