The Cottage is two story and the main bed and additional bed (within the reading area) is located on the 2nd level. The Cottage, including the sleeping areas, is an open plan space with natural light and views of the spring fed dams and paddocks. Local bird life is abundant and you may see the occasional Kangaroo wandering the grounds.

The owners of the cottage have an affinity with wombats and a respect for the traditional custodians of the land, so in naming the property they chose to acknowledge both. Wariin is an old miners cottage, circa 1900's, tastefully renovated to make your stay both relaxing and comfortable. It is perfect as a couples retreat or a small family holiday, it is private and pet friendly (small dogs only, larger dogs at owners approval)

Set well back off the street, Headland is only one private little cottage, on its own, flanked with large lawn, garden and a couple of cute garden sheds. Circa 1860, Headland is one of Daylesford's originals--oozing authentic appeal, cosy and calming. Our charming and cosy two bedroom home is set in a mature wraparound garden, with a raised deck and a fire pit area - and plenty of local birdlife!

The cottage is located in a tranquil quiet location with sweeping views of the beautiful Wallaby Track and Reserve which combine the best of European and Australian trees. We welcome adults, infants not yet crawling or walking and children from 6 years and above as well as up to 2 pets. IMPORTANT NOTE There are access issues for young children to the nearby creek, hence our restriction of young kids at the property.
