Perfect place to stay with warm hosts. We felt very comfortable and the small luxury apartment. Everything you need. Everything clean and well thought through. We were able to reach the Lipica stud farm and the caves by bike. A supermarket with rolls is within walking distance. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Pierpaolo is a very welcoming host and his house is truly beautiful—everything has been restored with obvious care and immaculate attention to detail. He was always available nearby to answer any question we had but we also felt that we had total privacy. Škocjan is a lovely village (if you are planning on staying here you are certainly planning to visit the caves) and a great base for further exploration—there is a remarkable feeling of peace and isolation despite the fact that it is a quick drive of under an hour from LJU and just a few minutes from the A1. We benefited from many of Pierpaolo's excellent local recommendations. Highly recommended.

Very nice hosts, we were able to check into the apartment much earlier than the actual check-in, and there were fresh rolls from the host, a carton of eggs, some delicious things in the fridge. There was a sweet surprise for the kids. We would come back.

We stayed 5 days in this beautiful apartment on the Istrian coast. The view and decor of the apartment were exactly as beautiful as in the pictures. Unfortunately we were there in March, so the pool wasn't filled yet and it was still too cold to take a dip. However, we could sit in the sun on the roof terrace. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, the coast is within walking distance (if you can walk a bit) and by car there are many beautiful places within driving distance. We really found the kitchen and all the items to be used to be a plus, so we could also cook for a few days and eat relaxed in the apartment.
