Villa Lina was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean, had new and comfortable bedding, had plenty of space for our family, and the view was outstanding. The place is very private, high up on the hill, but with the instructions from our host we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. The driveway is about 1/4 mile, steep, with parts of it gravel, and has several sharp turns, but we made it no problem with the small jeep we rented (without 4WD). Just take it slow. It is about a 15 minute drive back down to the town center of Lucca and the train station and 10 minutes to a grocery store. The back roads are very narrow until you get to a main road so use caution and we were lucky enough that others backed up for us when we met on the narrow spots. The view and seclusion were well worth the drive up for us. If you want an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, but also a short drive to a neat town and a train station, Villa Lina is a great choice!

The stay was splendid, the owner always available and very kind, she also offered us handmade products made by her. The cottage was clean and equipped with everything you need for a great stay. It is in a perfect location to relax.

Alessandro's accommodation is great for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, it is in a quiet location and surrounded by greenery but still close to a lot of areas of interest such as Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) and so on... it is a very strategic place, especially if you have pets with you. Our little dachshund - Focaccia - was able to run freely in the huge garden in front of the accommodation - a place where my partner and I decided to have dinner every evening enjoying the beautiful sunset 🌇 The accommodation is beautiful, new and equipped with a really super-stocked kitchen (we could even make pizza!). We were also very pleased with the presence of an air conditioner. We will definitely be back, we highly recommend it 🫶🏼 N.B. Wow, wow, wow!!! This place is absolutely top-notch! It’s way bigger than it looks in the pictures; super spacious, spotlessly clean, and everything is so thoughtfully maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped, which made cooking super easy, and there’s even a beautiful display of local products (like honey, wine, and more) available for purchase, such a great touch if you love trying regional goodies! Just up the hill, there’s a lovely restaurant with great views, making dining out super convenient. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and honestly, everything felt like perfection. The hosts were amazing; so kind, helpful, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We were a family of five traveling around France and Italy, and they gave us tons of great recommendations. There’s even a desk full of maps and local tips inside the apartment, which we found really helpful. If you’re scrolling through reviews trying to decide, this is your sign to book it now. A hidden gem!

We had a wonderful time at this special place. Nestled in the hills in a peaceful village, it offers a stunning view of the Apennine Mountains. The house is so beautiful that you could easily spend your entire stay just relaxing—on the terrace, in the pool, or cooking in the outdoor kitchen. That said, the surrounding region also has a lot to offer: amazing beaches and charming, less crowded, colorful villages. I was a bit worried about the internet connection before arriving, but the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. Sometimes there were four of us working remotely—two in the upstairs living room and two on the terrace, and we had no issues at all. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Marjolein and her husband were incredibly warm and welcoming, and communication was smooth and easy. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much!

This was the best place we stayed on our Italy trip! The region is so unique, with winding mountainous roads, lush forest, and ancient buildings. The property was very clean, with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and spacious, and the view was magnificent! Lindie was a fantastic host, very responsive and gave us very useful recommendations for the local restaurant and hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want a unique experience in the mountains!!

Simply an oasis of peace, we are super happy with our stay in this property and with having chosen Giulia and Sabrina! We needed to get away from the daily routine and this property with a view of the greenery regenerated us, even if only for a day! Everything was clean and special, beautiful tub, we had a lot of fun but also relaxed, my child didn't want to leave! Breakfast in the morning is also fantastic! Thank you for this experience, as soon as we have the chance we would definitely like to come back, we highly recommend it!

beautifully situated in the countryside with a fabulous view from the roof terrace! Super quiet yet not far away from various attractions and restaurants. Christa is very friendly and welcomed us warmly. She even provided us with drinks and snacks. Just GREAT!
