In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna can offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store as well as a little further up the village there is a cafe, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

The accommodation is a separate guest part of the house with own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and one large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. The bathroom has a toilet, a shower and a washing machine. A large terrace facing the lake, with a seat under a pergola, and guests have their own disposal over the entire terrace. Possibility to borrow rowboat and life jackets. Towels and beds are not not, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning not included in the listing.

In the heart of Dalarna, this charming log house is close to both lake and forest environment. Forget all the everyday worries of this spacious and peaceful home. Decorated with two bedrooms on the ground floor, both with double beds. There is also a double bed in the hobby room downstairs where you can also enjoy a fireplace. The apartment is cosy and super close to the lake. Great for ice skating in winter. But the biggest highlight are the amazing hosts! It was by far the nicest airbnb experience I ever had due to their super warm welcome and friendliness!
