Timber & Tides - Tidal Suite

JenniferRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This place was great, especially if you want to be close to the Bay of Fundy. We needed an overnight on our way to Hopewell Rocks, and there are several really good restaurants within walking distance as well. It was extremely clean and comfortable, and they were proactive about sending instructions which was really helpful. Kris came out to say hi to us and was really friendly as we checked in, although we didn't have much time to get dinner before things closed (be aware this town closes up early), but even that was helpful because he gave us a great recommendation and made sure we'd get there before it closed. Thanks for a great stay, we appreciated it!

Timber & Tides - Timber Suite

RobertRating, 5 starstoday
Great spot, perfect for 1-2 people visiting the area for a few days. Everything was neat and clean, and Kris the host was very responsive and friendly. Alma itself is a fantastic base to visit this part of NB - Fundy National Park is right in the doorstep ( I walked there in 15 min), and places St Martins, Cape Enrage, and Hopewell Rocks are an easy drive. The only thing to note is that it is a basement flat (there are two of them side by side with separate entrances), and there is one window for light and ventilation. The ceiling height was fine, probably 8 feet, so it didn’t feel cramped, and the heating/cooling is easy to use and responsive so no issues there. I felt right at home. Recommended.

Dennis Beach Fundy Oasis

TedRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Amazing location overlooking the Bay of Fundy and incredible tide changes. Super helpful and responsive host, new build (which we didn't expect would be the case, but was a great surprise). Great home base for Fundy National Park, only a short drive away. Keurig coffee maker with pods present. Hot tub felt great after hiking. We were so impressed!

Beach House WoW - This Old Tree

GregoryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a truly fabulous place -- my only regret was not staying longer. We found this listing after planning a trip to Five Islands Provincial Park, as part of a larger road trip around Nova Scotia. Had we known just how wonderful and peaceful the property and area were, we would have stayed longer and used the spot as a bit of a "home base" to do some more exploring around the region. The house is beautiful, and Jennifer and Barclay are really working to create a wonderful small vacation community, with a few other rental units on the property. Jennifer warmly welcomed us on arrival and gave us some local recommendations. The Five Islands Lighthouse Park, which is a 5-minute walk from the unit, is a fabulous place to watch the tide go in and out, and the surrounding residential community feels very warm and welcoming.

Dewar’s on the Rocks. Stunning waterview getaway

We were in town for a wedding at the golf resort down the road. The place was well placed, 10 min drive to the venue and a 2 min walk to the liquor store. The hosts were extremely flexible and responsive. The view was outstanding and the house was just beautiful.
