Beachfront vacation rentals in Cumberland County

We stayed here and it was a lovely cozy cottage with beautiful view and sunrises. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and extra bed lines for the colder night. Beach was nice but 100% bring your water shoes. Lots of thing to do around the cottage on rainy days. We got a lovely email from the host with all kinds of ideas and places to go in town. We the perfect end to our summer

Amazing views. Cozy cottage with everything you need. Seen lots of wildlife, seals, bald eagle and a nice deer came strolling by while I had my tea on the deck. Had a wonderful relaxing week. Host was very friendly. Would recommend.

We loved our time at this airbnb with the family! it was a beautiful view and the home was so cozy 😍 Our family enjoyed our stay and it was extremely well stocked. we especially enjoyed the baby swing they had for our 6 week old. Hosts are great, we highly reccomend!

Beautiful spot in a very peaceful setting. Tastefully decorated and every last detail was thought out for their guests. Jerry was easy to communicate with and provided suggestions on local attractions both in the area and also along the route to the location. This is the fourth year my friends and I have stayed at Steve's place. We love the location, with direct access to the beach. Steve has tons of amenities and it really is a relaxing weekend. Hope to continue the tradition!

Hattie House was a great getaway from the city! The views of Advocate Harbour were stunning. We enjoyed play board games, getting restful sleeps in the beds, and did an amazing boat tour near by to Cape Split, NS with Local Guy Adventures! Would definitely recommend a stay!

Our host Nick was excellent, the cabin was great, exactly as pictured/described. Would absolutely stay here again.

Another great visit at Stone’s Throw. This place is my go to spot to relax and reconnect with the community I grew up. Sad to leave but have my next stay booked for July.

Holly was such an incredible host and her vacation home was such a good choice for our family. From the moment we booked, Holly reached out with a friendly message to welcome us. We arrived and checked in with ease. Once inside we were welcomed with a basket of goodies, baileys and a card. The view is absolutely breathtaking! Wide open views of the Northumberland Strait and ocean frontage. The home is decorated with cozy seaside vibes. The beds are extremely comfy and there is all the modern conveniences of home. Smart TV’s, WIFI, keurig with pods and much more. We will definitely be booking back for summer!

Absolutely breathtaking! The view from our cottage, the lovely walks on the beach, hiking Cape Split, dinner at Long Table and meeting interesting people from all over North America. We loved watching the tides roll in and out, as it was different every day we were there. We love how private the beach was. It was our favorite place in Nova Scotia! We hope to return. Poleen was an amazing host and very responsive. Highly recommended this beautiful piece of paradise.

We found the cottage to be a gem. the house was larger than we anticipated and the view and swimming more lovely. Swimming was perfect for our younger kids, with low tides allowing for lots of shallow warm water and long red sand spits and lots of hermit crabs at the rocky edge.High tide was still safe and not too cold. Two deck levels and lots of space inside even if we didn't need it with sun every day. We got a bonus of meeting the neighbors who were former owners and had alot of back story to the place, and additional good recommendations for the area. Top recommendations! We would love to return someday

Came up for a quick winter getaway for the night while spending the day skiing at Wentworth. The house was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Looking forward to coming back in the summer months! Thanks Jeff and Sharon!

What a gem of a find - amazing! The views are breathtaking. The bay is so wide, you can observe sunrise and sunset. Just glorious. The different decks offer the opportunity to get out of the wind a bit, depending on where it was coming from. The kitchen is better equipped than most AirBnB kitchens I've used. Megan was incredibly communicative and always ready to offer solutions. The quaint Bakery, Coffee Shop, and Restaurant nearby is just adorable - in the middle of nowhere, and a complete gem. The pies!!! They also serve Breakfast and lunches. We planned to go back there, but the area around the cottage was so incredibly peaceful, we didn't want to go anywhere!

We loved our stay in Northport. The cottage is filled with light from the windows facing the ocean and the view is magnificent. It is a modern, well-appointed cottage with a comfortable, relaxed feel. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. The fireplace added a cozy touch. We enjoyed the artwork throughout the cottage. The beach is steps away and we were able to swim in September. It was lovely to walk on the sandbars when the tide was out. Pugwash is a short drive away for any groceries, dining or take out meals. Bev was a fabulous host: friendly, helpful and informative. We couldn’t have asked for a better fall getaway!
