Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cromwell

Sarah's place was absolutely perfect for a group weekend away. Really well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable. It was also within a short walk of the town centre and historic Cromwell.

We absolutely adored staying at Te Awa Lodge on our recent trip to Wanaka. It was a gorgeous riverside home with an amazing hot tub and sauna, which we loved using after our hikes. Graeme and Carolyn were such warm, welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The property is easily accessible to Wanaka (10-15 min) and Mount Aspiring (1 hour) . Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

It’s a great place to spend a few days, as the views are spectacular with horses and sheep around the property! We surely enjoyed our stay at the place! Just that all the washrooms are clubbed together into a large one, with stalls for shower and toilets! It looked like a great place for hosting any event or such… Overall we did enjoy our stay thanks to the amazingly beautiful surroundings!

Josh & Allanah’s place was the perfect escape for our family’s holiday! Everything about this place was a dream, from the massive balcony overlooking the most stunning view, to the squeaky clean bedrooms & bathrooms! The kitchen was fully equipped made it easy for us to have home cooked meals with the kids. They even prepared the baby essentials - crib/ booster chair & Utensils. I can’t think of any negative comments, just that perhaps the steps to the unit might be quite journey if you have a lot of luggage like we did.

The location of this home in Kingston is just breathtaking. The lake, the mountains, the quaint little town -- all of it is perfect. It is a 45-ish minute drive from Queenstown, but that was a plus for us as we had day trips planned to Milford Sound and Invercargill. Plus, the drive to Queenstown is so beautiful. The house was very clean and cozy. We made ample use of the washing machine (which conveniently has a dryer option as well). I would highly recommend a stay at Ian's.

Great place for a bigger group. Fire was lovely and other heating was effective.

Julianne’s home was perfect for our stay. Situated in a superb location to enjoy all that is special about Wanaka. Fabulous views over Lake Wanaka and the mountains. Magical sunsets. Beautiful surrounds all walkable. Peaceful neighbourhood. A very spacious and comfortable home with everything we needed and more. Thank you Julianne for being a superhost. Very easy to communicate with and clear instructions before arrival much appreciated.

This is a great spot for Arrowtown and exploring the area. Easy 15 minute walk into town and you get all the peace as well. The apartment has stunning views and is perfect for a couple- we had a 5 month old with us and actually perfect for that too! Belinda was agree host, dropping round the key for the gym/pool, and generally being really communicative

Love the ambience, incredible and convenient location with stunning views. The place was super cozy and had a very homey vibe. Toilet floors are heated which is something that we did not know we needed haha - mind blowing. This airbnb blew our expectations out of the water.

Great home base, perfect location! Spacious and well appointed - relaxed feeling. Highlight - try the baking and Sangra pies from the outside cafe literally around the corner!

From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us like family. We even (seriously) asked if she’d adopt us — and we’re 29 and 30! She’s the ultimate Kiwi mum: warm, thoughtful, and endlessly generous. She made my partner’s birthday so special with heartfelt touches we’ll never forget. Beryle went above and beyond in every single way. She was incredibly helpful in reviewing our itinerary and used her local knowledge to help us adjust our plans when the weather changed. Her advice was thoughtful, practical, and spot-on. I would use my last dying breath to recommend you stay with Beryle. This was more than a place to sleep — it was a highlight of our trip, thanks to one remarkable woman. Jane was very attentive and had the fire lit for our guys every day of the stay before they came back for the evening. This was a special touch after a day of installing floors down the road! Great place to spend the night in Kingston. Would recommend, especially if you are looking for somewhere exactly half way between Queenstown and Te Anau.

Cindy's place was just perfect for what we were looking for. Great for an Autumn stay with easy access to Queenstown, Arrowtown and the trail network. Cindy has put on the electric blanket with our late arrival - when we saw her the next day she was super friendly and welcoming. We spent the days hiking and riding bikes with great food at Sherwood and Ayrburn. Also recommend b'fast at the Bespoke Kitchen.

Excellent communication, and entry instruction from Owner. Apartment was as listed, no surprises or disappointments. Short walk to supermarket/shops. We hired a vehicle. The car space provided was well positioned, and able to be locked when we were out, bonus. Side note: $10pp cash for 5min local bus to/from airport without a travel BeeCard. We stayed 2 nights in Queenstown and 3 nights with a vehicle at this AirBnB, overall I was very pleased with my choice. Recommend, Yes.

A wonderful location with stunning lake and mountain views. Pleasant and easy walks to local coffee shops and eateries. Great lakeside walk into Queenstown. Excellent accommodation bed extremely comfortable. Great communication with host who was helpful and timely in responding. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

Location is great with private parking so you don’t have to worry about finding one far away and shifting luggages. The place I clean and near most of the needed amenities, beautiful surrounding and walking distance to the lake. Full function kitchen with no restriction of what are allowed to be cooked. Jane is a wonderful host ensuring our safe arrival and proactively helped us check on the status of the road closure, ensuring our safe arrival. We were greeted with a warm welcome, chocolate and a pre warmed house. :)
