Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a TV (no TV service) that can be used for DVD's. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!! TV in the cabin is for DVD's only.

Welcome to this lovely home, which retains elements of it's nearly 100-year-old history. It is located in a quiet residential area with a comfy living room where you can relax after long hours of driving. High-speed Internet is equipped for everyone to utilize. And a washing machine and a dryer are provided in the basement. Additional pillows and blankets are provided as well. It's very close to downtown, only takes about 3-5 minutes to restaurants, banks and shopping centers.

We were traveling with kids (big and little) and having a house like this to stay in made our visit very enjoyable. Lisa met us at the house and got us checked in. My Mother and I very much enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed: comfortable beds and furniture, a big TV, and shuffle board! The restaurant next door was so convenient. The beer was divine. Every person we spoke to was friendly and helpful. I wish we could plan another trip here. Thank you so much. We felt very welcomed and valued.

This place is awesome. It is roomy, comfy and super clean. We will stay here again. The kitchen is huge and plenty of room for dining in the dining area or at the long bar. Everything you need is here and more. Each bedroom had an ensuite and the rooms were large. If you have children, the backyard was a great size for playing. Love that we could park in the garage and know that the car was out of the elements and you can walk directly into the house. The laundry room was very roomy too! Bathrooms were well appointed and the closets were huge. Enjoyed our stay here with the comfy beds. What a treat!
