Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Council Bluffs

When we 1st arrived we were a little apprehensive due to being tired and there were several boarded up homes in the area. However, after a good nights sleep we were feeling more comfortable and raring to go. Our 1st stop was the Zoo, spending all day there, only returning home for dinner then out again to walk the Bob Kerrey Bridge. That evening we ventured down the alley to find the Bohemian Restaurant, that is not longer in business but they keep the sign up anyways, LOL, according the the Czech Bar. We spent several hours there talking to the bartender and meet Pam and Bob. So interesting and friendly. Yep we will be back there, for sure. Next day we went to the Lauritzen Gardens, the Durham Museum and walked downtown. Can't say enough about our experience except that when we come back we would stay here. You guys made our stay a memorable one. We have been bragging every since we arrived home. 100% Thank you!

Perfect place to stay. Great neighborhood and loved the restaurants. We went to 712 and they had a great dinner selections. Betsy was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The home had everything we could possibly need and it was very thoughtful even in small details such as bathroom essentials! Highly recommend for anyone especially with pets!

Patricia's place is in a quiet, friendly, private complex, but we could easily walk to get coffee and pastries at the excellent Archetype in Little Bohemia, to the superb Joslyn Art Museum, to restaurants and shops in the Old Market, and to the zoo (named the 2nd best in the country!). The beds are incredibly comfortable too and we slept really well!

Stephanie’s place was great. It had a really nice yard for our dogs to stretch their legs and everything was very clean and just as advertised. We stopped there to break up our cross-country road trip and it was the perfect recharge spot for us. We were able to grill out our first night there and then check out some of the local spots the next day. If we’re ever in Omaha again, we will definitely try to stay here again!

I loved staying here while I was in Omaha! It’s extremely cozy, very peaceful and quiet. It had everything we needed, and was close to many attractions like the Zoo. Maurie was extremely communicative and was readily available if I needed help at all. It was the perfect place to come back to relax after a fun day out, I will definitely be coming back next time I visit!

This was the first time I've used an Airbnb and this experience was such a good experience I don't think I could ever go back to hotels. The place was in pristine condition and very cozy and the host made the experience a breeze would definitely recommend!

Armit was quick to reply and very easy to talk too. Great place at a great price. I stayed for four days and it was much cheaper than the cheapest hotel in town. Very clean and great location.

This was our second stay. our first being only 2 days. We loved the place. One thing that I do need to point out that we did not notice on our 1st trip. Believe me this is the only negative in an otherwise perfect place and may not be a negative for everyone. The TV only has digital rabbit ears and only a handful of channels available and depending on the weather some worked and some didn't. I do like to catch up on news etc on TV and this was not possible. Like I said, this is the only negative and if you're not a TV watcher, not a concern. Everything else is perfect. Highly recommended.

Very cool apartment right by scenic Omaha. Mark made it very easy to check in, and also had extremely easy to follow check out procedures.

Perfect stay for me! Not too far off hwy, quiet home, lovely apt and spot-on for all needs! Welcoming apt and hosts, dark/quiet bedroom with great bed for a challenged sleeper! Definitely a great find that I will revisit if travel takes me there! Thank you!

Wonderful overnight stop. Interior was beautiful and spotless.

This place was exactly as described. Perfect location in the old market, beautiful open loft with separate cozy bathroom, view of old market was fantastic with stunning windows. Rooftop patio was adorable. Fantastic restaurants and coffee shops are at your doorstep. The Old Market is one of my favorite places in Nebraska and this was a great way to experience it.

We had a wonderful stay! This was the perfect location for us to walk to a wedding nearby. There were many great restaurants that were walkable. We enjoyed Zen Coffee Company and the Spielbound Board Game Cafe. Fwamay communicated with us about check in and everything was great!

The place was very clean and beautiful. We loved the area and that we could get to nice restaurants at walking distance. Trish was very nice and available, we would definitely stay again.

I felt very safe and secure at this location. Lots of construction in the area but nothing that could bother you. Just upgrading these horrible roads in Omaha. It was a comfy home like spot. I loved having the balcony. The bed was super comfy. The place was cool and I plan to stay there again! Jamar was super cool and responsive. Thank you!

Outstanding service and very responsive. I got in super late and had made a mistake during the booking process. Ryan helped me through it, checked on me and had an absolutely beautiful apartment with all needs met. I would highly recommend. Close to some good eats and a nice balcony to enjoy views of Omaha! Great location for conference events. The convention center was a 20min walk for me. Lots of things to do that are very close. Nice open concept floor plan. Will definitely book again if available as the conference I attended is usually every other year in Omaha. Also the hosts were excellent!
