Great stay at Tanya’s, recommend highly! I really enjoyed the area as lots of walking and wild swimming places to go. The lydford gorge is truly beautiful. The hut was super clean, comfy and cosy. Thanks so much for having me, I hope to visit again. X

What an absolute gem of a stay! The surroundings are something else, with the views, great walks, nourishing soundtrack of birdsong and the steady flow of the river - the only sound that disturbed a snooze in the garden was that of a butterfly fluttering oh so close to my face! This is medicine for the soul. We loved how dog friendly Love-Lee was (and with a friendly doggy), as they enjoyed the adventure as much as us. The cottage is cosy with lots of personality - the whole place is full of imagination and Dartmoor magic, Alan and Diana have clearly thought of so many things to make it so special. They were very welcoming and kind throughout. I am slightly reluctant to write all this as we want to visit again soon and were hoping to keep Love-Lee a best kept secret! A wonderful experience, thank you Alan and Diana, we'll be back!

I spent the weekend at a charming cottage with my husband tucked away in a beautifully secluded area, and it was exactly the escape I needed. Surrounded by nature, the views were absolutely stunning—rolling hills, quiet woods, and skies that lit up with stars at night. It felt like being in our own little world, far removed from the noise of everyday life. Carol and her husband were very accommodating to us and ensured that we were happy with everything in our stay. Would definitely recommend to all and we would most definitely stay again!

Jeanette was a lovely host, gave clear instructions of how to get to the cottage and we arrived to a very nice homemade cream tea! Upon arrival Jeanette gave lots of good recommendations of places near by to visit, a lot of which we did and we had a lovely 3 days. There are some beautiful walks in the area. The cottage was great - had a very homey feel to it. Comfortable bed, cosy fireplace, hot shower and everything you could need in the kitchen. The location was perfect, town and supermarkets close by but also felt very secluded and peaceful. Brilliant view of Brentor church from the garden, only a 15 minute walk away and a great place to visit during sunset. Thank you for the lovely stay Jeanette! We’d love to visit again soon :)
