Cosy Cornish Woodland Retreat

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

Sandy Feet Retreat...A lovely touring caravan, in a private garden, with a stunning sea view.

Sandy Feet Retreat is a basic,clean,warm caravan situated in the front garden of our house,Pine Ridge. It sleeps two,in a double bed,plus a child in the seating area. There is a kitchenette. All with sea views. There is a small bathroom, with a basin, shower, and cassette toilet (emptied and refilled each day by ourselves.) All bedding is provided. It is not perfect, but it is clean and dry,comfy and quiet with stunning views. It has a one ring electric hob(no grill/oven) microwave and fridge.

You have your own shower in a converted horsebox and a flushing loo, just yards away. This is a 1980s vintage Roma caravan placed for glamping within a large garden. There is also a fresh water lake on the property, perfect for wild swimming. The Helford river and the sea/beaches are 10 mins drive away. Falmouth and Helston are 7 miles away. The Ferry Boat Inn is 10 mins away with coastal walks to Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Garden. Tents can be pitched beside the caravan at a small extra cost.
