Beautiful House Above Barleycove Beach

CelineRating, 5 stars17 months ago
We had a wonderfull time in Illian's house. The house was very cosy, very well equiped with an amazing view. We occupied all the beds and there was still a perfect amount of space for all all of us to feel confortable. It is also a very good location to exolore this part of West Cork, Mizen head (windy and impressive in winter !), Dunlough Castle, the very nice villages of Goleen and Schull, Crookhaven and all the beaches around starting by Barleycove of course ! We have spent an epic winter week, walking around all day, and coming back to a very nice wood fire at night. I would definetly recommand the experience ! The communication with Illian was very easy and he's always been very reactive and helfull !
The property is nestled amidst lush greenery, with a dense canopy of trees surrounding it. A well-manicured garden extends from the house towards a quiet lakeshore, where smooth stones border the water's edge, creating a serene lakeside setting.

Caragh Lake House - Lakefront Escape and Sauna

SaraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Five stars for Caragh Lake House and Ettienne! Spectacular setting, well-appointed, spacious quarters, lovely decorated and unbeatable view! Ettienne was the most responsive and attentive host we have ever experienced with AirBNB, thoughtfully meeting us at his home for a personal tour, leaving us fresh goodies in the kitchen, and arranging dinner, golf and fishing reservations. He was a message away with any questions we had or guidance we needed. We noticed and appreciated all the special touches throughout his home. Don’t miss the hike within walking from the Lake House, unbelievably stunning views at the top! We hope to someday return to CLH.

Fergal’s house is beautifully designed , extremely comfortable and very well equipped . Even though we didn’t cook there it had absolutely everything you would need . The view was mesmerizing and it is perfectly set up for outdoor relaxation if the weather would cooperate. We wished we could have stayed longer . Truly outstanding house in a super location with the village 5 minutes walk and a little beach 2 minutes away .

Luxury Lakehouse, Cottage & Lakeshore Sauna

CourtneyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We can’t wait to come back here! We’ve just returned from 4 nights staying in easily the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever booked; the photos don’t do this place justice. We’d initially planned to spend most of our time exploring the ring of Kerry but changed our plans to spend as much time at the house instead. The kayaks, sauna and use of the lake made for a really enjoyable weekend of family fun. Lorraine and Claire were fantastic hosts! We will be recommending this place to everyone!

Kerry farmhouse with stunning mountain lake views

If you are looking for classic AirBNB, then you have come to the right place; you live with the renting couple and can use almost all the rooms of the house; including kitchen and great conservatory as well as incredible views. What you can't expect is great comfort; but instead a very warm atmosphere.
A welcoming entrance is displayed with a dark wooden door framed by two windows, highlighting a soft peach exterior. Potted plants with fresh greenery and yellow flowers adorn the stone pathway, while a black dog rests contentedly at the door, adding to the inviting atmosphere.

Heir Island House - Heir Island, West Cork

JenRating, 5 stars71 months ago
Craig and Claudia gave us and our dog a wonderful welcome to Heir island. Heir island is one of the few truly unspoiled spots in ireland and is well worth a visit and an explore. It's a short ferry ride from Cunnamore pier and once on the island the walk to Roaring Water Lodge is an easy 10-15 minute stroll. Despite there only being a handful of cars on the little island, there is always a car available to take bags and to offer a lift too if you don't fancy the walk, but we recommend the walk. Pizzas made to order in their outdoor fire are delicious and the breakfasts plentiful and delicious too. A lovely range of breads, fruits and cereals and the Full Irish available too. Clean comfortable rooms and powerful showers to wash down the salt from the fresh Atlantic dip! Friendly and relaxed rooms within the accommodation allows everyone to enjoy their own space or to mingle and share stories. Craig and Claudia are relaxed hosts working away in the background, always happy to chat and to provide extra tips and information on the local area. We highly recommend a stay in this fab little spot, especially if you need to bring your canine friend (provided they enjoy sea travel)! They will love Heir island too!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hanna's Cottage. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The furniture and all the little touches really create an atmosphere, we found we did not want to leave and just enjoyed watching the view and the boats on the water. The cottage is beautiful and warm and cosy. We went for a lot of walks in the area, its really beautiful there and a lot of nice places to visit. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake! :)

We had a truly memorable stay at Little Cregg in Glandore last week. The location is stunning, with panoramic views over Tralong Bay that we enjoyed from morning to evening — whether relaxing on the new patio or watching the changing light from the comfort of the living room. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and extremely well-equipped. Everything we needed was there — from a well-stocked kitchen and BBQ to beach towels, books, games, and even a first aid kit. On arrival, we were delighted to find a lovely welcome of wine and local produce, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. We spent our days swimming, kayaking, and walking the quiet country lanes to the nearby jetty, taking full advantage of the private path down to the peaceful beach below the garden. The outdoor warm shower was a great bonus after time in the sea. While we made day trips to places like Baltimore, Skibbereen, and Rosscarbery, the house and its surroundings were so relaxing we often pref

Barrow Lodge in County Kerry is a real gem, and it's all thanks to Clodagh and Niall! They were absolutely fantastic hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Their local knowledge was invaluable, helping us discover some amazing spots in the area. If you're looking for a warm welcome and a great stay, I highly recommend Barrow Lodge! The Cottage at Lakefield

TerryRating, 5 stars1 day ago
It was so wonderful there isn’t enough space. First, Paul was an outstanding host; friendly, responsive and welcoming. The cottage was everything we hoped it would be; clean, with everything we needed, and a cool fireplace even though we didn’t need it. The surrounding property was like being in your own botanical garden/arboretum. Perfect location to visit Dingle and Kerry Peninsulas, Killarney NP or just a pleasant walk along the narrow road. By far our favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed in. We want to come back to Ireland just to stay here again.
