No 2 Clock Tower Lodge, Leap, West Cork

We had a wonderful stay here, surrounded with hills and a quick drive to many little walks, the coast, interesting towns and about 1.5h from areas further afield such as the Ring of Kerry or Mizzen Head. The space itself is comfortable and clean, and was perfect for our visit (us + 2 young kids + 2 elderly parents) — being able to let the kids play outside is a real gift. Hot tub gets nice and hot and was a great treat to end the day. Thank you Marcella for a wonderful stay, and for being so responsive and helping us with a few of the bits we needed / had forgotten at home! Xx

The Farm Cottage

What a beautiful home. Great location for us. What I particularly loved was how eco and energy conscious they are. Turn it off if you aren’t using it! The gardens are lovely. Everything was super. Elaine’s parents are mostly on site and are the most friendly hospitable folks you’ll meet. Fully kitted out house. Amazing shower. Supplies in the fridge and bread on the side. Thank you all so much. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything. Xxx

The Old Post Office (Urhan)

SueRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was such a generous space for 7 adults and 4 children under 11. The weather was amazing so we made full use of the lovely back garden and its gas barbecue and in the evening the fire pit. The kitchen had every piece of equipment imaginable and loads of plates and cutlery etc The view out the back was the mountains out front the sea and further the Iveragh Penninsula in County Kerry. We had food from the food truck at the next door pub and lunch at O Neills in Allihies. Of course crab sandwiches with the wonderful Adrienne at Mc Cathy’s bar in Castletownbere. Walks to Cleanach and the Arches, swims at Travara and the cable car for some thrills. A special and generous place. (It would be wonderful if there were a safe off road path to the little beach or some provision by the county council to make the road more pedestrian friendly).

Tower House

JacquiRating, 5 stars4 days ago
To any folk considering using the Tower house in Killarny for accommodation, I'd definitely recommend it. We had a motorcycle tour to Southern Ireland and used this as a base for 10 bikers. The accommodation is fantastic and suited all our needs. The 6 on suite bathrooms were extremely spacious and comfortable and well equipped. Additionally, the kitchen, dining, and living areas were set out to give all room when we were enjoying a rest after days out.. location is perfect to enjoy a walk Into town or quick access to the national park.. the group will definitely use Tower house again on next trip.. thanks to hosts and the five-star facilities.

We had a lovely stay at Nina & Noel’s place! Even though the place was small, it was cozy and nicely decorated with wooden carvings by Noel. We met Noel when we arrived, and he was very attentive and open. Noel and Nina were very quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything. Noel was always up for a chat and tips for local activities. The apartment is nice and quiet, with lovely views of the surrounding valley, and a short drive away from Bantry. The sauna was great as well after a long day of hiking. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Nina and Noel’s place if you’re looking for a quiet, cosy holiday surrounded by nature and friendly people! (And two outside cats) 🐈‍⬛🌳 Thank you Noel and Nina for a wonderful stay!

One of our favourite Air bnb stays! We are a family of 4 and this suited us perfectly as a base to visit family and explore West Cork. The treehouse and swing were a highlight for our two young daughters. The home itself was more spacious than we expected, extremely clean and comfortable. All the amenities you could need to cook full meals. The children’s books, toys and footballs etc were a real bonus! Highly recommended

Adrigole Bay Studio Apartment

What a gem of a find at John’s place. It was exactly as described but in addition the quality of the furnishings and quality of the kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery was exceptional. John had clearly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and was able to answer any questions we had. I was able to go out on the bay in his kayak and saw the seals. A lovely experience. If we return to this area again we will definitely be in touch to use Johns place again.

Birgit and Thomas were such lovely hosts! They were wonderful to chat with and spent time showing us their land and provided great recommendations for us to do in the area. We got to see some wonderful sites we otherwise wouldn’t because of them. The guesthouse is absolutely beautiful and the floor to ceiling windows in the kitchenette gives the most amazing natural light throughout the day. The location is amazing - it’s not in the heart of towns but provides you with a serene escape and is so worth it! Plus, Thomas built the sun porch which makes it more impressive. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a unique place to stay - having coffee each morning while looking at the mountains behind their property was a highlight of our trip!

We had the most amazing time at Greg's beautiful air bnb. From start to finish we felt so relaxed. We were greeted by the lovely Patrick who showed us around and explained everything. It was like a tropical paradise! We travelled with 2 children and they had such an amazing time in the pool. Everything was as described. The house was spotless, garden is so beautiful and the viewing point was stunning. We would highly recommend Glashnacree House and Gardens and we will 100% be returning in the future.

i arrived beside myself with stress but Jenny and her place are just the cure for that. She is a mega host. Before i left i was already contacting friends to recommend an escape to the shepherd’s hut. read the description as it is camping style. but what you give up in some conveniences you more than get back in beauty, peace, and joy. she strikes a great balance between leaving you alone and including you in leisure activities. i used the stay as a cheap access point to cork but would recommend it as its own destination. i brought an extra blanket but im pretty sure if i had not she would have had one as the place is equiped beyond what i expect at that price

Unique Wooden Cabin with mountain views

LizzieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
As soon as you walk through the bower into the front yard here, you know that this is going to be an extra special stay. Walking up onto the verandah the house has a warm and welcoming feel - and wine and chocolate! So many lovely thoughtful touches throughout - jugs of fresh flowers, a fabulous kitchen with well stocked pantry - fresh garlic and bay leaves and every utensil you could ever need to cook up a storm if you want! There are really nice toys, books and board games for kids and a library for grown ups. The very special thing is the natural pool adjacent, fed by a beautiful stream that spills over and continues its way down through the trees. Such a beautiful place with lovely art works and little treasures here and there - a home away from home. The hosts are friendly and helpful and leave you your privacy to enjoy this very special place. An experience not to be missed - best ever stay!

A Private, Warm & Cosy Seaside Cabin on Bantry Bay

One of the nicest places I've ever been. Absolutely clean and cozy (the fireplace was already prepared, we just had to light it!). We sat on the sofa for hours, listening to the silence and watching the sea and the many animals. The journey is also no problem with the help of the good explanatory videos. Just drive slowly and pay attention to the instructions.
