Vacation rentals with beach access in Cork

We based ourselves in Kenmare for 3 days while touring around Ireland. Tessa’s cottage was comfortable, had great facilities and extras that Tessa had left to make it a great stay. She was good with her communication and check in was easy. The cottage was convenient to town if you didn’t want to drive. Quiet location. Thanks Tessa we really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge.

A lovely apartment in easy distance to shops and restaurants. We had a small issue with a lock which Hilda sorted out very quickly. Lovely, fresh bread, tea, milk and chocolates on arrival… which was a welcoming touch

Very pleasant contact with Margaret, very fast response time for questions. Beautiful location with sea views with separate small terrace for the sundowner. The accommodation is lovingly decorated and very clean. Margaret had provided us with tea, coffee (French press), yogurt, granola, rolls, cookies, etc., which saved us the trip to the supermarket. To explore the area on foot, you often have to walk on the road (little traffic) - Margaret has hung yellow vests in the closet to increase the safety of her guests. We stayed with her for 2 days after our arrival in Ireland.

Place is as described very homey nice quiet area ,walking distance to restaurants pub pier Joan was lovely to deal with Will be back again 🐾🐾

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful area. Everything we needed was there. Easy walk to the pier/water. Super, super comfy furnishings and spotlessly clean. Beds were so comfy and the 'attic' bedroom was very very cozy. Wish we could have stayed longer! Mary was so communicative and kind & understanding. Amazing to find a spot this great that will allow a baby and a dog. We will be back!

A beautiful and cosy place where you feel right at home, in a really nice setting. Overlooking part of Kenmare Bay and the hills in the distance, which you see from the couch as well as the bathtub. Mary is a wonderful host whom I am glad to have met, as well as Ellie 🐾

We originally booked this listing in May of 2020, but sadly were not able to make the trip due to Covid. 5 years later we finally got to stay int he lighthouse and it was well worth the wait! It was truly a magical experience, with breathtaking views and so many special little details in the house to make it feel like home. We spent 10 days in Ireland and this was the highlight of our trip!

Amazing House..Views are incredible. Very comfortable house. Mary is really nice a helpful. 2nd time at Skellig View. Can't wait to return.

This was such a generous space for 7 adults and 4 children under 11. The weather was amazing so we made full use of the lovely back garden and its gas barbecue and in the evening the fire pit. The kitchen had every piece of equipment imaginable and loads of plates and cutlery etc The view out the back was the mountains out front the sea and further the Iveragh Penninsula in County Kerry. We had food from the food truck at the next door pub and lunch at O Neills in Allihies. Of course crab sandwiches with the wonderful Adrienne at Mc Cathy’s bar in Castletownbere. Walks to Cleanach and the Arches, swims at Travara and the cable car for some thrills. A special and generous place. (It would be wonderful if there were a safe off road path to the little beach or some provision by the county council to make the road more pedestrian friendly).

We spent four unforgettable nights at Seaview House and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The panoramic views of Derrynane Bay and the Skellig Islands were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect retreat. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to cook several meals at home. After long days of hiking and sightseeing, we really appreciated the comfy beds and hot showers. We loved watching the sheep graze just outside and taking the short walk to the nearby pier, where we met friendly locals and even found some sea glass on the rocky beach. The location is ideal—close to Caherdaniel and beautiful beaches, but still quiet and relaxing. With easy access to the Kerry Way, Skellig tours, and nearby historic sites, this home is a perfect base for exploring the area. We truly loved our time here and would highly recommend Seaview House to anyone looking for a scenic and peaceful getaway on the Ring of Kerry.

It is hard to describe the joy, beauty and warmth of the experience we had at Gretta's beautiful home. The location was beyond our wildest dreams, right under beautiful green hills of sheep and a short walk from an absolutely stunning beach. The home itself was incredibly thoughtfully laid out, decorated, and stocked with everything four travelers needed. However, the best part of our stay was Gretta herself! Her genuine and authentic hospitality, perfect local recommendations, and delicious homemade bread made our stay so special. Gretta and William were an absolute delight and we were all sad to wave goodbye. We will be back!

This is one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The photos don’t do it justice, the home, grounds & view of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking ! Everything you need is on hand, we were inspired! Fresh flowers & comfy blankets, books, every detail was taken care of. We did not want to leave. Gavin was friendly and gave us great tips & suggestions for exploring this incredible area. We would give 10 stars if we could!!! Book this extraordinary stay.!

Anne & Gerry's place is an absolute gem. Relax in the garden, while watching the ebb & flow of the tidal estuary. Enjoy the antics of the Egrets, Heron, and Hooded Crow who are in splendid abundance. Curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a glass of the good stuff. Pop into Skibbereen or Clonakilty if you want to stretch your legs. Or just enjoy the afternoon sun with a pint at Nolan's (ask Dennis about his on-going "battle" with the local Rooks and Jackdaws). Anne & Gerry's is a wonderful place to slow things down, and focus on Nature and simplicity. You will sleep beautiful sleeps at Lazy Acre, and awake to days of delicious indolence.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Regardless of being in the main street, not very noisy. Could walk to shops, restaurants and waterfront. Host very helpful. Provided extra space for our bicycles. We enjoyed the garden space out the back. Apart from no free parking at the property, we managed as we used the option suggested by the host, the stay was excellent and will highly recommend it.

where do we start? John was as friendly and gentle as they come. Hid place was perfect and adorable. Kitchen, washer Dryer and a real King Bed! ....just what the doctor ordered. Absolutely perfect stay! This apartment exceeded all expectations — beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Set in one of the most stunning spots in West Cork, it’s the ideal place to unwind. Anna is a truly exceptional host; her warm welcome was one of the highlights of our trip. The freshly baked scones waiting for us on arrival were such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. I had brought a travel cot for our baby, but ended up leaving it in the car when I saw the gorgeous, cosy cot Anna had already prepared — it felt like a home from home. Every detail had been thought of, and the whole experience was so restful and special. We feel lucky to have stayed here and genuinely hope we’ll have the chance to return. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable apartment right in the heart of Castlegregory. We appreciated the many practical touches, such as the well-thought-out kitchen, two couches, access to washer and dryer, front entrance with easy access to Tailor’s Row and back entrance with private parking. We liked Maura’s design aesthetics a lot (the clock, the electric kettle, the cool bedroom shades, etc). It was wonderfully and unexpectedly quiet after dark—no sounds at all from cars, planes, dogs, street conversations. We have no complaints at all!

Lovely coastal home with beautiful views. The hike was cozy and private. I would definitely recommend this location and would come back for another stay.

James was very responsive and answered any question I had. We had a wedding in the local church in Clonakilty and James allowed us to check in early before the ceremony. The accommodation was extremely clean and had everything we needed. I will definitely stay again if I’m back in Clonakilty as the location in the town was excellent.

Such a wonderful location to get away from the hustle and bustle. We hired a car and drove to Cobh, Cork, Kinsale & Waterford which we super easy to get to. Joan couldn’t have done more for us. It was our first visit to Youghal but definitely not our last. Wonderful restaurant at the Walter Raleigh Hotel, just across the road. Amazing food and friendly people. Fabulous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed our few days in Youghal immensely. The apartment was perfect. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. The host James was so friendly and very responsive to any communication from is. We were celebrating my mother in laws 90th birthday and he really went above and beyond for us in that. She had the best time, reminiscing and telling stories from her life and all the holidays she spent in Youghal as a child, a mother, a grandmother and more memories now created in Youghal as a great grandmother. We have priceless memories. Thank you James for making our stay in Youghal such a comfortable and memorable one. We will be back.
