Monthly Rentals in Coombe

Excellent property in a lovely quiet location. Spacious enough to accommodate two families including three young children. Lovely Twixmas stay!

We had an enjoyable stay in the annex which had a well equipped kitchen for any self catering task, a comfortable bed and room with ample storage for clothing and other belongings, a nice bathroom with hand and bath size towels, plenty of hot water in both the sink unit and spacious shower, a good functional WC,and a large radiator There was also ample refuse container space. The living room had comfortable furniture for either watching the tv or eating a meal. The whole apartment was neat and clean, with ample heating and ventilation where necessary. A beautiful and tranquil Airbnb in a great location. We visited 6 different parts of Cornwall during our short stay as everywhere was 20-30 minutes away!! It was bigger and better than the photos, very well designed and thought out. So lovely waking up to the view of the lake each morning and the sound of the ducks and cows. There were lots of extra blankets/duvets/pillows for the colder evenings/mornings and 3 heaters to snuggle up next to. Nick was a great host, he regularly checked in with us and was super quick and responsive with replies. It was New Year’s Eve when we arrived and a bottle of Prosecco had been left in the fridge which was a lovely touch and gesture. If you are looking for a rural, peaceful, snuggly and unique airbnb to stay in then this is the place for you!

My wife and I stayed at the lodge for our wedding anniversary and it was without a doubt a treat. The cabin and surroundings were just as described; all amenities provided, cabin itself was exceptionally clean, parking was easy with the allocated area, a very private area to ourselves as per the title of the listing, and convenient location to drive around Cornwall from. The owners (Tim & Carol), were very friendly and responsive to any queries we had prior to and through our stay. The extra plus points were the refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits & soft drinks) provided to us in the lodge, and a beautifully maintained garden for us to enjoy a meal at while of course being treated to the view of horses in the neighbouring field. Thank you so much for having us Tim & Carol. Highly recommend a stay at Birdsong Lodge and we're sure to return on our next visit to Cornwall.
