Eagles Nest, Romantic escape away from everything!

As we transitioned from highway to local street to the narrow road getting to the cabin, we could feel all the calm nature taking over. This getaway spot is the perfect balance between minimalism and essential needs. There's running water, electricity, heat, AC (which we definitely needed on a 90 degree day!), etc., but no excess of anything. It's a proper getaway without the challenges of being truly off grid and the view is amazing. My wife and I ate our breakfasts outside, so we could listen to the river and birds chirping. It's also just under 30 minutes to Leavenworth, which is a must-see town, so don't miss it. Everything we needed to know was in the first message from Steve, but he also reached out letting us know we could check in early. We had an issue with the breaker for the L2 charger tripping (wasn't a problem because we just charged at Safeway) that we mentioned after checking out and Steve promptly responded and let us know he replaced it! Great host and great cabin!

Kim's condo was the ideal place for our family cross country ski weekend. The groomed trails are mere steps from the front door! The beds were cozy, the kitchen and game cupboard were well-stocked, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We would stay at Kim's place again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Play room was a hit with our group. We couldn't get Xbox to work but it wasn't a big deal for us given the place had so much to offer.

The cabin exterior features a welcoming entry with a wooden door and a decorative sign. Colorful flowers line the porch, complemented by stone landscaping. Tall trees provide shade, with a gravel path leading to the entrance and wooden steps leading up to the porch.

I loved it, it was nice beautiful and peaceful. The only thing was that the heater in the bedroom didn’t work. But I would rent the little cabin again.
