The Old Goods Wagon

What a lovely peaceful place. So well equipped. Extremely peaceful, just the beautiful birdsong. Lots of wildlife to see, including deer whilst sitting outside. Pauline and Martin were so welcoming and friendly. I loved the history of the Wagon and all its lovely historic touches.

The exterior of a stone apartment is framed by manicured hedges and flower beds. Bright red flowers contrast with the greenery. A vehicle is parked on a paved driveway, and the building features a sloped roof and multiple window panes, allowing for plenty of natural light.

Lovely wee spot, perfect as a pied-à-terre while attending a friend's wedding. Very clean and well kept, and I really appreciated the information I was given before check in about how to find the place and what to expect from the area.

The Tack Room, Themed getaway's

I booked this last minute and arrived an hour later. Barbara was out at the time and went out of her way to came back as soon as I got there. Barbara and her husband were so so lovely, really chatty and made me feel really welcome. The place was even more beautiful in person and just as described. It was worth the stay just to see the animals walking around and the beautiful views. The outside bath was amazing aswell, would highly recommend at sunset (Barbara advised me what time would be best too). Can’t wait to stay again x

Great place to stay for a little get away, everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Emily gave great instructions on how to get to the home and that made it a lot easier to get there!

Stunning countryside location near Harrogate

MarkRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A fantastic cottage in a stunning, peaceful location. The cottage was well equipped, clean & warm. Comfy bed and furniture. Everything you could need for a long weekend or a longer stay. Julie was helpful, friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. The location is perfect for visiting Harrogate, RHS Harlow Carr, Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks. The local pub, which is a short walk has excellent pub food and some specials, also friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place more highly. If we return to the area we will look here first.

The Pavilion at Beck House, Bishop Thornton

We had a lovely few days at Amanda's, it's a beautiful bungalow in a wonderfully peaceful setting! We enjoyed seeing deer, lots of birds, and a very friendly cat! You can tell Amanda is a very experienced host, everything was pristine, and she provided a generous welcome basket. You are a short drive from many places of interest and villages so the location is very good too.
