Very good transportation everywhere. The airport bus passes by 2 blocks away. In addition to shopping, there are other supermarkets closer by, a pharmacy, museums, nice places to eat, and the Rambla, beautiful for walks and with its beaches. A place to enjoy and be able to study or work at the desk.

Room one block from the coast (Rambla)

I spent a week at Gabriela's house, and at that time I felt very comfortable. I traveled for work and the space was very much in line with my needs for a place and environment to be able to work, tranquility for rest but also with pleasant conversations when we met in the house. The location is perfect for walking around and exploring some of the city's tourist attractions. Very grateful for your hospitality!

Juan was very attentive from the beginning. He let me arrive early and its location is excellent. It is very close to the terminal and downtown, in addition to the Centennial and National stadiums. If it's for a couple of days, it's worth staying here

Oh I had such a lovely stay here! I needed something close to the airport in Montevideo just for a few days and this place was perfect. It was calm and quiet, a quick walk to the beach which was nearly empty. This is much more of a residential neighborhood, but there are a few nearby restaurants that are easy to get to by walking if you don't have a car (I'd highly recommend trying Tunquelen Empanadas nearby!). The hosts themselves are so warm and welcoming--I felt very included in their home and the breakfast (homemade bread and jams) was delicious. I would happily stay here again in the future!

The garden, with a lot of shade and the Paraguayan hammock, is perfect for hot days and offers a pleasant contact with nature. Many typical birds of the area are observed. The grill rack ensures a comfortable and pleasant stay. An added value is the ability to use the bikes, which make the stay even more special. In addition, Graciela stands out for her attention to detail and very helpful attitude.

I stayed for a month. The building is spectacular, and right in the center of the city. Walking to Ciudad Vieja, Barrio Sur, Palermo, Cordón. You can easily get anywhere from here by bus, Uber, or the line of taxis always waiting right outside the door. The building is old, and you are in the center of a national capital metropolis, so there is noise - but what else would you expect? The kitchen was well appointed for such a small space. I was able to have friends over for dinner and cook a full meal just like I would at home. There are numerous groceries and laundry and banks and farmacias and all sorts of services you might want on the blocks surrounding the building. The rambla is blocks away. I only communicated with Paula by text, but she was quickly responsive to any inquiry I had (I didn't have many). The doormen in the building are quite friendly and helpful. I happened to be there for the recent change in government and saw both the former president Pepe and the king of Spain while running errands in the Plaza Independencia. What a treat to stay in such an architectural icon of the city!

The place is excellent for enjoying punta del este in a more reserved way. We were between 7 people and we felt really comfortable. We go out for a walk and enjoy the beach during the day. To go to the center of Punta del Este we use the car. Agustin kept the house always clean and always with very good music, in fact, he has an enviable sound system. His dog Lex was a great partner too! He is always at ease in his corner, does not bother or bark. We used the dry sauna which was really cool. The place is great for a traditional Uruguayan parrilla, Agustin helped us do it! Really perfect experience, recommend!
