This place is an absolute gem and you will love it! It's a bit hidden away, so make sure to read Sarah's arrival instructions well. Once you're there, you'll fall in love with the little barn at Higher Gear immediately! Everything is lovingly prepared, incl. all these small, thoughtful details that you wouldn't expect but are delighted to receive. The room is spacious, the bathroom well equipped and it's all clean and welcoming. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it has everything you need. The location is very private & secluded but it is also very close to some amazing places to visit, Penzance & St Michael’s Mount are only just down the road & St Ives is also only a short distance away. Marisa & Harry are very welcoming and are very happy to give you recommendations for places to eat & visit. There are many listed inside the welcome pack as well.

We had a wonderful stay! The annexe was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our needs. Maria was a fantastic host — warm, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout. All the little touches, especially the breakfast items, made us feel right at home. We’d love to come back and would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area!

I can’t recommend this place enough! The accommodation is quiet, peaceful, clean and romantic. There’s plenty do in the surrounding area and at the site itself. Rebecca was really friendly and super responsive. Would absolutely recommend :)
