It boasts a shaded 'al fresco' area at the rear, a sun drenched garden in the front, and is set in a small hamlet with ancient cobbled traffic-less roads. Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

Great for those who love walking/hiking and MTB hikes, but also for those who love to relax in the silence. 7km away from the Passo delle Radici/ San Pellegrino in Alpe and Castiglione di Garfagnana ( one of the most beautiful villages in Italy). Near the house there is a small chicken coop, with the possibility of eggs at km 0. additional bed availability upon request. There is WI-FI.. MTB and E-MTB rental possibility!

The Villa even has its' own apple orchard. Chiozza is only a 10 minute drive from the market town of Pieve Fosciana, where there are a number of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Casa Fusari is ideally placed for discovering some of the most beautiful villages of Garfagnana.
