Such a cozy & beautiful cabin, perfect for getting away from everything for awhile. A true unplug. Our fire by the pond was so peaceful. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again!

What a lovely cottage🙂. It was peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking for a small cottage to relax and sip some tea or coffee, this is the place to be ❤️🙂. If scenery, serenity and nature is your thing then this where you want to be 🙂. Karen made it personal with a few touches, such as a hand written welcome card, small jar of honey and some yummy cheese and fresh apples. Sitting next to the fire pit is a great way to unwind and chat with a friend or loved one. There's a nice trail on the property for a walk, that leads to a rock road. I had a nice walk with my friend and enjoyed the sights along the way. Small notes: there's no full kitchen, we cooked in advance and brought small tupperware to heat up our food. There's a small fridge.If you're used to a large bed, the beds are only twin size. We adjusted but I know some folks can't work with a twin lol. The whisker chair and couch are a bit small and not the most comfortable and only 1 person can fit on each so no cuddling😅

Spacious enough for one or two people. I usually stay far away from anyone, but being behind their house really wasn't an issue. 20 minutes outside Athens. Check out the nearby rural grocery store, which still has a non-electronic gas pump!

Ryan is always responsive and was also flexible with potential changes to our rental.
