Barn vacation rentals in Cherwell District

Unfortunately I was unable personally to stay at Rita's accommodation because of a sudden medical problem, but she was more than accommodating in letting me bless some friends at the last minute with a few days vacation. They really enjoyed their stay and said the welcome was amazing. So once again thank you to the host for her understanding.

I stayed at this air bnb for my wedding at a nearby venue. It was the best! I felt so relaxed, the host was very friendly and we had the best time! I would highly recommend staying here

Faultless stay. Beautiful setting in the heart of the Cotswolds. Within 20 minutes of all the typical tourist attractions. The grounds themselves are beautifully done with great dedicated areas for dogs to roam in an enclosed field as well as smaller gardens attached to each cottage for them. The Padel courts were brilliant quality and the tennis courts were great also. Friendly staff on site and we hope to come back with a bigger group of friends in the future!

What an incredibly beautiful and peaceful stay! Tom and his wife were such kind and gracious hosts I am so glad I was able to spend a few nights in their beautiful cottage! Getting to meet their two sweet pups made my stay even better if possible! I would 1000% book here again for a peaceful cottage getaway!

Wonderful place to stay with great walks from the door and easy access to other Cotswolds attractions. The cottage was lovely!

A truly restful place to stay and recharge our batteries. The Shearing Shed is a quiet spot in an otherwise busy working farm. Hosts Sarah & Simon were approachable, friendly and most helpful, with the Farm Shop on site a bonus. Close to Moreton-in-Marsh we would recommend this to anyone.

Lovely place, great for a couple as a base. It is on country road between two villages so road do not have a footpath if you are planning to walk. The fields do have footpaths sign-posted so can get iff the road after a few minutes walk. The bed was lovely, thick and comfortable. Had everything you need to cook for yourself. I did set off the smoke alarm because I am not used to an electric oven 🤗 Shower was great. A bit tight to get in for the larger gent but water was always hot and very good pressure. I was there for work but enjoyed staying the and would stay again. So much more relaxing than a hotel room.

We both so enjoyed Emma's beautiful barn. We simply wanted to enjoy this lovely space and cooked a meal there . Everything was handy and everything practical had been thought of. A magical barn with stunning decor throughout . We would both unequivocally recommend this property to friends . A smashing crash pad near to Stratford. I particularly enjoyed walking into Stratford along the footpath from Cobb's Farm Shop a 3 minute drive up the road once my partner had gone to work . Beautiful . An excellent space for two people'. Clean and neat with well equipped kitchen area and a bathroom with an excellent shower. Quiet location, good area of decking to sit out on. Private gravel parking area with gate to road. Just what we wanted for a weekend in Stratford.

We stayed here for 4 nights after getting married. Penny had surprised us by decorating the downstairs with congratulations banner, prosecco and glasses and a balloon and card, also the welcome pack was very lovely. There was a manual to help operate the tv, and all appliances and it also listed places to visit. This property was everything we were looking for and more, the place was lovely and quiet and peaceful and we really felt relaxed and comfortable but it was also easy to drive to local towns and amenities to see the sights, we ate in some lovely local restaurants. We were left alone to do our own thing but both Penny and Simon contacted us on a few occasions to let us know they were available if we needed anything or wanted any help with anything. What more can I say, we had a beautiful stay in a lovely clean and well looked after property and had a good rest, hopefully we will be back one day 🥰

Myself and my partner have had many weekends away in the UK, but this was a favourite for both of us! The accommodation itself and the surroundings are stunning, it is located in a blissfully peaceful area, but not too far away from things to do and see. Toby was a very attentive host and helped us with setting up the fire pit, stopped for a chat when passing, and even brought over some condiments that we had forgotten to get from the shop :) The sofa is perfect for a snuggle, the bed and linen is comfy, the fridge was stocked with milk, bottled water and wine (!), along with olive oil and a couple of other handy bits in the cupboard. Plenty of cutlery and dishes to be able to cook during a stay, and helpful to have a dishwasher installed! There is a lovely little patio outside the back door, perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. We honestly cannot fault our stay here, and will definitely be returning :)

An amazing place to stay, beautiful walks in the surrounding area, especially the white horse. Very peaceful and easy to navigate would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!!

Hoo Lodge was exceptional. Andy was responsive, and welcomed us upon arrival. The studio was impeccably clean. We could tell they had taken great care to make sure everything was just perfect. Things we loved most about Hoo Lodge: the light, the gorgeous kitchenette, and sitting out on the lovely patio furniture enjoying the peaceful cotswolds setting. We hope to come back someday!

Very restful, peaceful and homely. A perfect place to relax and also good location. Easy to reach Stratford upon Avon ,stow on the wold and Bourton-On-The-Water and other beautiful places.

Absolutely gorgeous barn conversion in a stunning, peaceful location with views across fields and a lovely little farm shop on site. Cath was super friendly, warm, helpful and incredibly responsive from the very first point of enquiring. It’s a real gem this place and great value too. Whether you want to just switch off and enjoy the peace and quiet and views or you want to explore Warwick, Stratford and the Cotswolds is a special spot.

Top marks all round. The house is large and ideal for our needs (a bunch of grey haired old school chums getting together to play board games, chat and drink wine for a weekend). Big kitchen, big lounge, decent bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, just across from a super country pub and in a picture postcard village. The house and kitchen is well equipped and it’s not pristine kitchen ware so you feel you can have fun cooking. All round it was great and we plan to return please.

This airbnb is beautiful and social area is actually bigger than the photos show. We stayed as three couples and it was the perfect size. Walkable to the river and Wallingford for coffee and restaurants. Nikki was really responsive and let us check out a bit later too!

A lovely and characterful apartment in a good setting in one of my favourite parts of the country. We really enjoyed the homely feel of the decor and felt very relaxed during our stay. Also the kitchen was really well-equipped. A good location in a village with pub and shop. Being opposite the village green was really convenient for giving the dog a quick walk first thing in the morning.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Dutch barn and we’re just as pleased this time round. It was exactly as we remembered it - Sophie has been very fast to respond, the space is clean and beautifully laid out. It’s really peaceful and in a great location.

Set in beautiful surroundings, Badgers Sett is equipped for a relaxing stay. We did a couple of short walks as we were staying during a mini heatwave! There is plenty to do and see if you want but equally you could stay at base, chill out and enjoy the vistas. Clive and Ann are lovely hosts, the beer and bread a lovely surprise!
