Cabin vacation rentals in Chena River

Its a great place to stay. Very private and just 15 min away from Fairbanks. This place is also away from the city lights which makes it a great place for watching northern lights.

This place is easily our favorite in the Fairbanks area. Cozy cabin with enough space for a small group to feel comfortable. We loved having the nice deck and backyard available to enjoy the birds and sun. The hot tub and washer/dryer are a plus as well.

Qin is the reason it earns a 5 star review from me. She is super prompt and communicated immediately. Our flight was delayed and qin was able to help us with late check out which was very kind of her. She is very good

Amazing stay, out of the world Hospitality and completely felt like a home away from home. One of my favorite stays ever. It was a very spacious cottage with very cozy vibes. Colleen wasn't around but had her friend Stacey to help us with all we need. They're both incredibly helpful (yes even Colleen although she wasn't around). It was a remarkable stay and I thought twice if I wanted to leave a good review and be selfish by gate keeping this gem but honestly.. They deserve every single star available. If there's a reason I ever come back, this place would be one huge one! Oh.. Not to mention, I caught a spectacular Aurora right outside the door on the very night I arrived. This place is a lucky spot!! ❤️❤️

This cabin was absolutely perfect—cute, cozy, and tucked away in a beautiful wooded setting. We loved listening to the birds while enjoying our morning coffee and relaxing in the hot tub under the midnight sun. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the thoughtful touches throughout made it feel extra special. Our host was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to work with. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was an ideal property to host a family trip for graduation. We had everyone from grandparents to a toddler for our trip and we enjoyed the layout and amenities of Remi and Matt’s place. We enjoyed coffee, morning breakfasts, visiting in the living room and on the deck, and the hot tub and sauna in the evenings was a highlight. Thanks for hosting us!

Cute cozy place to stay in for a few nights. Easy access to roads, very quiet and peaceful area! Susan provided excellent hospitality.

Loved the cabin and the seclusion. My wife and I live in a cabin in Indiana and it made us feel at home! We were close to our son and his wife and our newest grandson! We would definitely stay again if we were to come back to Fairbanks.

Beautiful and cozy cabin. If renting a car make sure it’s an AWD drive vehicle because it can be difficult to get up driveway if it is snowing or lots of ice on floor

Wonderful cabin! The surroundings were beautiful and the ducks were very cute to hear quacking whenever you got to your car. The cabin was very neat and homey, and was so relaxing to be in! 10/10

This was our very first stay at an Airbnb, and Rebekah set the bar incredibly high. She was warm, responsive, and answered every question we had—and then some! The cabin was beautifully decorated, spotless, and cozy. We were welcomed with thoughtful touches like homemade granola, fresh eggs, and milk, which made our stay feel even more special. The cabin was beautiful! I loved the big windows so you can enjoy the views of the surrounding forest of trees! It was quiet, clean, comfortable and well supplied with kitchenware and utensils. Even though there are regular deliveries of water, Hanna still came to check the water level to ensure I would not run out during my 16 night stay. She was happy to make recommendations for my inquiries. I have Verizon and had no issues with cell service. I would absolutely stay here again!

Peter’s place was a perfect budget stop on my road trip though Alaska. The privately cabin was basic and had everything you needed from a fridge to a sink and the bathroom was a short walk away and always clean and available. Absolutely perfect for a solo travel or a couple looking for a cheap cozy comfy spot. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great quiet place close enough to Fairbanks where you had easy access to anything you needed/wanted. Rackell was very responsive with messages and gave us several local recommendations and advice. I got this place with the northern lights in mind and they did not disappoint. We seen them right from the cabin porch. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen and having a washer/dryer was a great added item for us as it allowed us to pack lighter. Definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area. I will be saving this place to future visits. This cabin was a true alaskan feeling. Also very clean and in order, with a safe feel.

We had a great stay at Trudy’s! It was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Even though it was cold out, the little Toyo stove kept the temp we set it at. We slept great in the bed and the couches were comfy too. It is a ways out of town which was perfect for us. We had our dogs with us, they also felt at home and the area didn’t have busy traffic so they enjoyed our walks. Trudy was very responsive to all of our communication and had good tips for viewing the northern lights (even though it was cloudy and snowed on us). Being winter the cabin had shifted and the interior doors were tricky to open and close but Trudy was quick to let us know that. We will definitely look her up next time we are in town!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin near Fairbanks—truly exceeded our expectations! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and impressively well-equipped. Built just 3 years ago by the owner, David (a skilled builder), it had everything we needed and more. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, bringing us extra sheets and even fresh eggs from their chickens. They invited us to visit their family farm with goats, chickens, and vegetables—a warm and inspiring environment. They also allowed us a late checkout, which we really appreciated. Outside, there’s a great BBQ and lounge area to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a glimpse into a wonderful way of life. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

brought a friend into town with me, when we got back from being out for the night the northern lights were out and it was a beautiful view from the cabin on the river.

Great place to stay, very rural. Easy to get in/out of. Easy commute back to town.
