Mermaid’s Cove Retreat

AnnieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The photos of this house do not do it justice - the house and property were amazing. Super private property with amazing views. House was much more spacious than I imagined. The kitchen was so well equipped with all the trinkets you could possibly imagine…we used the instapot, food processor, immersion blender, espresso machine, pizza oven, and loved trying out an induction cooktop! Everything in the house was super high end and felt supremely luxurious considering the price we paid.

Melinda was an excellent host. She was helpful and attentive. The view day or night was outstanding! The home was immaculately clean. There was plenty of room for our large family. The video games were a hit with most as well as the other games provided.

Coos Bay Getaway, Crabbing, Fishing, Golf, Dunes!

KarenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was great just as described. No access to beach and a really long way to pretty much anything but quiet and comfy. I was skeptical about the heating as my wife and I are usually cold and don't do well with it but the small wall heaters did a great job keeping it warm enough for us. The fenced yard was great for the dog.

The Cliff House on the Bay w/Stunning Water Views

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Read if you are tall. First let me say the place was awesome and everything you’d expect. However if you’re like me (6’2”) you’ll want to know it has a lower shower head. I did have to bend back for the hair but could hit my shoulders if it was turned up all the way. You will also dwarf the furniture / you don’t really fit into it. Outside furniture you will fit in. This shouldn’t detract from staying just meant to be informative. The view is what you are paying for.

We had a great experience staying here as our home base for our coast trip and golf at Bandon Dunes. We loved being right on the beach and found Khamsey was very communicative and accommodating. Would def recommend and will be back if our plans take us back to Bandon.

Vintage elegance close to bay

AlleciaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I booked the stay for my parents. John made this very easy. He actually called after a day or so to see how everything was. I sincerely appreciated this. He was very communicative and patient as I normally had to communicate to my parents if he had a request (like recycling day). My mother did say she enjoyed the house and the yard for her dogs. I do know how finicky my mother when staying somewhere so I know if it wasn’t absolutely clean she wouldn’t have stayed. So needless to say it was very clean. Also apparently one of the dogs pooped inside a closet and John was very respectful and didn’t get nasty about the issue. He asked for a cleaning fee and I gladly paid. I appreciate his willingness for dialogue and patience. I would recommend this play to anyone simply based on the owner.

Cranberry Casita

This is a great, low-key getaway spot. It was perfect for a quick solo golf trip to Bandon. Just 10 minutes to the lodge, so it’s closer than almost anywhere else you’ll find off property. Danusia and Rick were great hosts and this quiet spot is a great place to rest. Would definitely stay again on my next trip!

Amazing hosts. My husband and I were on the third day of a road trip, already 28hours in and this was exactly the relaxing escape we needed. Kimberly even provided a super comfortable dog bed for our pup to sleep on and he passed out right away. 10/10 recommend and would stay again, amazing 🤩 already planning a retreat with my girlfriends

Riverviews, hikingtrails, near Bandon/beaches/golf

JackieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Mary's place was wonderful - the setting is beautiful with views of the river (especially in the morning before the fog burns off). It was a perfect setting and stay for my partner and me. The kitchen was well appointed, and you also have the option of the outdoor grill and amenities. We loved the property trails and the hike up to Mt Everett (Mary provides a trail map and shares background on the naming of the trails - such a fun thing to offer guests!). This property is perfect for those who like to bring their groceries, make meals together, and have an outdoor space to relax and play. It's also a great pad for accessing some amazing hikes. FYI we did not have cell service (could have been our provider) but the Wi-Fi works great, and we could easily get around it.
A tranquil patio setting overlooks the Coos River, framed by tall conifer trees. Two turquoise chairs are positioned to provide a relaxing view of the water, complemented by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Bright sunlight enhances the serene atmosphere of the area.

Very peaceful and homey. Loved the water side location and view. This home was as described and well equipped for cooking. As stated no access to the water and walking was not recommended from the property but it was close to a small selection of shops and not too far from North Bay. Great communication from Vacasa. Easy entry and check out.
