Apartment vacation rentals in Chania

Probably one of the most amazing places you’ll stay anywhere! The attention to detail when the unit was remodeled, and the furnishings and extras added to make your stay comfortable, are incredible. It is located right in the middle of a vibrant area full of outdoor restaurants, music, and shopping. The hosts are extremely responsive, we were late getting in but that was not a problem. During our stay we unfortunately encountered one of the red dust storms that Chania periodically receives, but they came the next day and cleaned the outer areas. We were lucky with the parking the first three nights, but for some reason the fourth night was a challenge however we did eventually find a garage about 15 minutes away. Also, I would not recommend the unit for younger children or someone unsteady on their feet as the stairs in the unit are quite steep especially to the roof, and there is no washing machine though a laundromat is just a few minutes walk. Would absolutely stay again!

The place is really nice and located right next to the old town which starts as soon as you cross the main road. We used Chania as our base to explore different parts of Crete but at the end of each day when we came back, we were able to enjoy some time in the old town which gets really lively in the evenings. Later at night, we would hang out at our Airbnb and enjoy the surrounding views which were great as it is located on the top floors.

Excellent!!! Such a lovely host - you will feel welcomed and well taken care of. They had everything I needed ready for my toddler son to feel comfortable in a new space. The view was so lovely to enjoy mornings and evenings. The place was pristine and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here when I return to Chania.

The apartment was the same as the description, with everything you need. The location is ideal, near the port on a shopping street, but very quiet. They cleaned and changed the sheets and towels mid-stay. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful place! Wish I had stayed longer. As described — but doesn’t brag enough about being located next to an architectural site. Very quiet and peaceful and convenient— and extremely easy to navigate check-in. Thank you so much !

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is spotless and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how to solve this. We had a lovely stay, I would recommend it to anyone.

Pasifai Residence was better than one can expect! The decor has neutral tones, perfectly complimenting the stone accents & medieval architecture of Old Town. The living room is very comfortable & the dining table is ideal for breakfast overlooking the pristine blue water. The kitchen & bathrooms have all the amenities you need & there are even additional items (sugar, coffee, wine, water, fresh fruit, lotion, etc.) thoughtfully provided by the host. The bedrooms have ample space and soft bedding. Bedroom 1 has harbor/water views & although the 2nd does not have windows, surprisingly, that makes it feel like a private hideaway. It is tucked beyond the kitchen, up two short steps & through a whimsical arched wood door that is like entering a magical hobbit home. Konstantinos is a superb host! He was helpful even prior to our arrival, arranging transfers, private tours & help w/luggage. The apartment is in the heart of Old Town with shops and restaurants at your doorstep. 10 stars⭐️!

George was an excellent host, one of the best I’ve ever dealt with on AirBnB! The apartment was in an excellent location, just a stones throw away from the Chania Old Town.

A great location right near the beach with clear views of an incredible sunset. The balcony was our favorite part but the location was great, with restaurants within seconds and the old port within a nice 15min walk along the water. Perfect. Katerina and George were amazing, easy communication and both went above and beyong welcoming us to Chania. Would highly recommend staying here if youre visiting Chania.

I had a wonderful stay at Agave Suites! The location is a 2 min walk to the old city but still very quiet. The room was spacious and Nikos was always responsive to my questions and recommended some wonderful restaurants in Chania. Would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying in the apartment. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable. The ocean view from the balcony is amazing and there are good restaurants along the Nea Chora Beach. There are two supermarkets within a few minutes and it is just a short walk into the old town. On premise parking makes it convenient to explore Crete by car. Also, the host is very nice, considerate and helpful if you need a restaurant recommendation, taxi or cleaning.

We had a wonderful time at Aggeliki’s home by the sea. With a beautiful, private location and comfy bed, we felt at ease from the moment we arrived. An extremely simple check in, directions of where to park our hire car, and support in booking taxi’s throughout our trip. The location is walkable (20 mins) to the rest of Chania, and we enjoyed exploring the Tanneries/ local neighbourhood.

Stayed in this small Airbnb for one night only, as a transition between a previous week-long rental and a flight back home. Loved the neighborhood, much quieter than the bustling and busy streets of old town Chania and yet very close. The room was simple, but very clean, nice bedding, excellent WC, bath and shower. Windows opened right onto a view of the Mediterranean, with a small restaurant balcony perched just by the water. Worth every penny, would stay again.

Extremely beautiful and friendly!

Honestly, it was one of the best Airbnbs I've ever had the opportunity to book! The neighborhood was really quiet and peaceful, The unobstructed view where you can see the sea. What can I say about the apartment... Everything was just amazing! There was all the necessary equipment, impeccable cleanliness, ultra-neat decoration in every detail, small touches on arrival, and our hosts who allowed us to enter the apartment earlier than expected after a complicated night. We didn't get to meet our hosts but they were very responsive, gave us lots of recommendations and addresses. It feels like home. 10 min from the center of La Canée, 5 min from the first beach. Really a gem for all who want to relax and feel perfectly at ease. Thanks again for everything, you're exceptional hosts!

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Beautiful place and great host

Staying at Hanim Boutique Hotel in Chania was nothing short of a dream location. Nestled in a street central of Old Town, it provided walkability and variety to any and all who dare to venture out. The stunning combination of influences from prior civilizations is on full display and not shied away from. Fueled by the recommendations from our gracious and very communicative host, exploring the city and its gastronomic offerings was made simple and pleasurable. You have to try the Mousaka! The apartment style accommodation was simple, clean and lived up to expectations. The cherry on top was the exclusive roof access to take in the vistas of the old port, the cityscape and sea. Stunning views would be an understatement. I would 100% return to Hanim Boutique Hotel should I visit Chania again. Thanks for the great time!
