Beachfront vacation rentals in Central Illinois

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured in the listing! My dog loved exploring the gravel road and private beach. I enjoyed unwinding from my hectic work schedule, and diving into the books I brought with me to read. I ended up taking a day trip to Hannibal, MO and stopped in Navoo on the way back and definitely want to plan another trip without my dog in tow so I can take more time exploring. Rebecca was quick to respond to any questions I had about the area and with recommendations for places to eat. Her neighbor was there when we arrived and was charming and full of tips for both myself and my dog as well.

Can't recommend this place enough. Serene surroundings overlooking the river; watching the barges float by and fish jump was the perfect way to relax. Between the deck, patio, and lower patio, there was always a place to sit and take in the view. Bed was EXTREMELY comfortable, and location was 15-20 minutes from anything you could need in Peoria. Can't wait to return!

Our stay was perfect! Alisa was an accommodating host and easy to communicate with. Her place is exactly what is pictured and is as described. My kids loved her DVD collection and we had a great time playing games — we were indoors mostly since the weather wasn’t cooperating for fishing. We felt completely comfortable!

Always a delight to stay with Cal and Dan. They are outstanding hosts and have created a home of graceful accommodations and comfort. Always look forward to my stays. P.S. The best coffee ever!

Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Large amount of land for setting up badminton net, croquet and throwing around a football. Enjoyed fishing, swimming, the kayaks and paddle boat that were on the properties. Lake was very peaceful and 150 year old house was great with lot's of nice personal touches inside. Thank you so much Steve and Erin for a great weekend stay.

Place is quiet and clean you get a Microvave sink & refrigerator with a couch DirecTV for TV watching showes also you have a Mexican restaurant next door for eating or other places near by would stay again.

Quiet neighborhood with the perfect deck to enjoy the view. The cabin is very clean, rustic and super cozy. Would definitely stay here again! Colin is a wonderful host

Annabelle was wonderful to work with. Very responsive and kind. The location was beautiful. The house was well stocked with anything you need and Beautifully decorated. We were surprised by Annabelle dropping off kayaks to use.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for some where peaceful to get closer with the holy spirit. Through out the entire cabin you will find many artifacts and materials that depict the glory of Jesus Christ. The cabin has been cared for very carefully and could not have been any more clean or accommodating. Pamela, the host, was very VERY inviting and friendly. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding Christian studies and will selflessly share her time with you to pass on the great works of the Lord. I had a warm roof over my head and a Christian retreat in one place. And then theres a giant boat symbolizing Noah's ark that also overlooks the lake, a lot of care and attention to detail was put into the construction of the ark. Thank you for the unforgettable experience Pamela!

Wow! What a lovely place. The pictures do not begin to do it justice. We had such a lovely great tame plying ping pong and pool, very badly, and kayaking in the lake. Ok, the piano could use a bit of tuning 😂, but we all absolutely loved the house. Juan was super responsive and nice, letting us check in early and out late. I would absolutely rent this place again!

Great place, plenty of room and activities. Awesome host that has set up a great place for families to meet and have fun. We will definitely be back!!
