Cave End Cottage is over 300 years old and is our much loved second home. Many original features remain including wobbly walls, wooden beams and a beautiful, large fireplace. It's perfectly located in Castleton at the bottom of Cavedale, a picturesque valley below Peveril Castle. Its central location in the village means it's close to all attractions, shops, pubs and restaurants. Equipped to accommodate all your needs the property's also on a dead-end so there's no passing traffic.

Located on the edge of the village with River Peakshole running at the back of the cottage garden but within 5 minutes walking distance of seven pubs, restaurants and shops. . The back of cottage takes you to the Mam Tor and Edale, perfectly located.

Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. It was our second stay at the cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Ideal location in the centre of Castleton close to pubs and restaurant and also for walks in the Peak District. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you need. The welcome pack was lovely. Gemma gave clear instructions and good recommendations for our stay. Will definitely be back.

Francesca's place totally exceeded our expectations! It is located halfway up the hill which ensured great views from the bedroom window. Surrounded by cute farm animals as well as a beautiful, well-tended garden. The interior was even better than the photos -- the accommodation not only had all the amenities and appliances we could have needed, but Francesca added a personal touch by curating a sampler of local bread, butter, honey, eggs, etc. We cannot recommend this place enough -- a perfect place to come home to after long days of exploring and hiking. We also had the chance of meeting Jocelyn who was extremely kind and personable. Cannot wait to return!

Lovely cosy bolt hole, perfect for exploring the Peak District with access to Edale and Mam Tor which is what we wanted. Great to be able to walk into Hope village for Spar and places to eat.

A quaint village street is illuminated by soft street lights and adorned with festive decorations. Two-story buildings line the road, featuring shops with visible signage. A gentle curve is present in the street, leading towards the distant hills, creating a peaceful evening atmosphere.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well attributed with everything required to make for a very enjoyable experience. I have never stayed in such a clean and well maintained property (hotel, villa or cottage) anywhere in the world. The view from the property (set beside a tidy, working farmyard), was breathtaking, with sheep and lambs completing the bucolic scene. To summarise the whole experience was fabulous!

This little cottage is an absolute gem. The property was absolutely spotless when we arrived with a lovely surprise of a bakewell pudding and some milk in the fridge with tea/coffee provided. It is furnished to a very high spec, we made good use of the nespresso machine and the record player. It was comfortable, peaceful and close to everywhere we wanted to visit. We will be back again hopefully!

We had a wonderful time staying at Tom’s place. Just a short walk from Hope and over the road from a great pub. The accommodation was spotless and of a very high standard. We loved the garden and the views. It was lovely to hear the river. Tom was very helpful and gave us lots of local recommendations for walks. Highly recommended.
