Vacation rentals with lake access in Carver County

Had a great girl’s weekend! Felt right at home, and the space was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed to relax! Access to the lake was a welcomed bonus!

Chelsea was so communicative and helpful in setting up a wonderful girls weekend getaway. The house was absolutely perfect! It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We would recommend the house to anyone looking to explore Excelsior and the surrounding Minnetonka area.

Lovely home with a pond in the back and walkable to the lake. The heated floors were great for the cold winter days. Nice open areas, everything is updated including the bathrooms. We visited many different sites in the surrounding cities but also enjoyed walking around the lakeside neighborhood.

That I can say I recommend it. This place is the best people. The place if you want something is the girls solve. And I recommend it if you want to save

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The one-bedroom space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The neighborhood felt very safe, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was smooth, and they were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure place to stay by the historic lake.

Location was convenient and in a cute neighborhood. The upstairs neighbors are quiet, but you can hear every footstep, since it's an older home with creaky and uneven floors. The second bedroom is quite small. But the home was clean and adequate for what we needed for a comfortable weekend stay.

This was such a nice place. Very pretty. The snacks and breakfast items were a perfect extra touch!

This is a safe place to stay. The streets are dead-end backing up to a lake. No traffic, it's best thing about this place. It's a typical older 4 apartment building. There are two tenants and two rentals. Tenants kept to themselves. The place is not high end but clean and gets the job done especially for the price. I would consider renting again. Remember, Minnesota is a Marijuana state, and you smell it everywhere.

It's a great location on Lake Street, close to top restaurants such as 6Smith and a short walk to shops and the beautiful Wayzata Bay. The unit is spacious and just as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and plan to return.

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

Once again we were blown away by Emily's welcoming home away from home that met ALL of our needs. We have stayed here multiple times and every time have settled in to this comfortable space, cooked a meal, walked around the lake, walked to breakfast, and benefited from Emily's attention to detail and care for our comfort. What a charming, cozy and spotless cottage in a very private setting! The description was on point! Very quiet, wonderful neighbors and accessible to parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Communication with the host was excellent with any concerns! She was lovely to chat with. We stayed for an extended Super Bowl/birthday weekend and had a great time. Super responsive to messages when there was a very small issue and checked in multiple times to make sure all was well. We would love to go back in summer. Very efficient space for a large group and the new hot tub was a hit with everyone in our party. Thank you!

Great space for an extended family stay. Enjoyed the great patio spaces, beautiful lake with kayak, well appointed kitchen, and large dining table and living room. Main floor was very accessible for family with a walker and they were able to navigate the few steps to the main patio too, but would be nice to have the main bathroom shower upgraded some day to be a more accessible walk in shower (there is a walk in shower upstairs). Host/brother very responsive to a few questions that came up.

we loved our stay here! the home was so cozy & felt like the perfect ‘home away from home’ for our long weekend! we loved how it was right on the water. we didn’t end up having great weather, so we didn’t get to take advantage of outdoor amenities, but loved that there was a fire pit, grill & outdoor seating overlooking the water :) beautiful space, views & lots of natural light! we enjoyed buffalo books & forget me not cafe in downtown buffalo which was about a 15 min drive!

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

Loved loved loved everything about the stay! Felt right at home, kitchen filled with all the amenities to make food for a big family. Ample seating options in and outside of the cottage. Lots of fun water activities available in and in great condition. Our first time utilizing a Blackstone, it was so convenient for cooking in big quantities. Britt was an amazing host! Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!!
