Monthly Rentals in Carrigaholt

Our stay at John’s charming Boathouse, recently, was wonderful from start to finish. The sea view was mesmerising, the sea-scented clean air a treat to breathe, the garden tranquil and inviting and the beach the icing on the cake. Walking into The Boathouse for the first time was like the warm hug of coming home. The location is safe and welcoming, the locals friendly and open. John himself is engaging, friendly, always on hand if needed and full of friendly tips and conversation. We loved staying here and it was hard to say goodbye.

Carrigaholt is a wonderful place to stay if you are planning on exploring the Loop Head Peninsula. The view from the kitchen and the back patio is stunning. The Long Dock in Carrigaholt is great place to eat dinner and is a 3 minute walk from the house. Anything else you need can be found up the road in Kilkee. Worth 3 or 4 nights to really explore County Clare!

We had such a gorgeous stay! The place itself is so thoughtfully put together. You can tell the owner genuinely cares about the environment and has created something really special. It’s perfect for unwinding. The hot tub was such a lovely bonus. And the honesty box at the front of the property? Very upmarket! It felt more like a boutique farm shop than a typical honesty box. So unique and full of charm! I couldn’t stop admiring it! The whole area is stunning too, a proper escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you're looking for somewhere to truly relax and recharge, this is it!

We had a great weekend at Ita's. location was perfect for travelling around and walking distance to local pubs and restaurant. The house was exactly as described, had a stove and firewood stocked in the sitting room which was just so cosy. Would 100% reccomend a stay here and would stay again if in the area.
