The house was perfect for our family. The private fenced backyard, hot tub and dining areas made the space twice the size. That big beautiful maple was a treat to sit under and enjoy all the birds flying overhead to the lagoon nearby. The location is epic! We loved walking to twin lakes and blacks beaches with the dog. Early mornings with low tide gave us plenty of beach to run around on. The farmers market on Sunday is also just a walk away. Highly recommend !

This darling little beach cottage was everything I hoped for. It reminded me of the surf bungalows from decades ago but with all modern amenities. I wanted peace and quiet and the tranquil surroundings—wind chimes, water fountain and the Monterey Bay a block away—delivered! Sita and Tom were always available if I had questions but they were never intrusive. The Pleasure Point neighborhood (where I lived 50 years ago) is still just as friendly and the Bay’s beauty, with the ever-changing waves and surfers, never fails to bring me joy. All in all, a lovely experience ❤️

Wonderful place, and a nice quiet neighborhood right next to the beach, and the E- bikes are hella fun, would come back.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Michael and Alison‘s place. It was impeccably clean and beautifully furnished and the house itself surpassed our expectations. Wonderful spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed, and nicely set up small kitchenette. The location was superb. The hot tub was fabulous. We really enjoyed being out there in the morning and evening. Michael gives more information about places to eat and where to go than almost any host I’ve ever stayed with. And his wife Alison was so gracious on our arrival. Our only adjustment was the small size of the deck and the fact that there’s about a 4 foot high wall around two sides of it, blocking the wind and part of the view of the garden. Since we love to be outdoors and always book places according to what the grounds look like, this was an adjustment. However we did adjust, and turned out to really love our stay.

My husband and I our little dog had an amazing weekend at the cabin! It was so beautiful and peaceful and had everything we needed. We went wine tasting a few miles up the road and came back and cooked a great steak dinner on the BBQ, then relaxed in the hot tub. We will definitely be back! And hopefully for longer next time! The location was unbeatable – just a short stroll to the iconic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, making access to rides, games, and the beach effortless. No parking worries! The hot tub was a true highlight. After a day of exploring, soaking in the warm, clean water under the stars was the perfect way to unwind and added a luxurious touch. The home itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, making us feel instantly at home. The kitchen was well-equipped, beds comfortable, and ample space for all. Host communication was excellent – responsive, friendly, and clear. We had a memorable time and are already planning our next visit. This Santa Cruz gem is a must-book for a relaxing, convenient, and enjoyable vacation. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had an amazing time! This home is great for kids. Lots of toys, books, and amenities suited for families. Short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Stayed with my husband and parents here for our wedding week that was happening in the area. The place was plenty spacious for 4 people! Much better than a hotel room would’ve been. Gave us quality time cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the living room, enjoying the hottub & heated pool and the beach! The ocean view from the dining table and the front porch is STUNNING!! The place is nice, well kept, and has everything you need! Any small things that popped up, Patti was helpful and fixed right away! Would definitely stay here again!!

Really hard to describe how wonderful the whole back yard is. Sunset here were amazing. All kinds of wildlife. The smell of the California hills in springtime always refreshes. Dogs loved it (and couldn't quite believe it). We swung on the swing, sat in the gazebo, enjoyed basking in the balcony views.

This place was great. The owners pay attention to the details and offered many amenities that we don’t see at other Airbnb’s. I highly recommend this place.

Cute house. Would advise driving during daylight tho, the roads are extremely windy and challenging at night. We had a tough time driving up in the dark. The amenities like hot tub were great. House was as described! Easy to use amenities. Would advise bringing a jacket on April.

It’s a good budget stay in Carmel/Monterey area when you are booking last minute. It’s in a quiet and safe area.

Nice place about a half block from Twin Lakes Beach. Location is great and the place was perfect for our family of 3 plus our dog. Our teenage son enjoyed sleeping in the loft and our dog loved barking at passersby from the deck... The unit is above the main house where the host lives, but felt private. We'd be happy to stay here again next time we're in town.

I loved my stay at Kim’s! I’m a Northern California native and I was thrilled with the rustic, laid-back vibe of Moss Landing. Walking distance to sumptuous coastal landscape. Loved that I could bring my pup. The bathtub was luxuriously appointed with thick white towels and boutique toiletries. Would come again and stay longer! Love, love, love!

This home was the perfect home away from home for our family vacation. It’s set back just enough to feel private, safe, and quiet. The open layout was ideal for keeping us connected as a family, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, easy to get to everything, which is especially important when there’s so much to explore. There are also great casual dining options close by, which made mealtime simple and stress-free. We had such a special stay here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing, and convenient home base for their trip.

We came to Monterey for a wedding and were lucky to stay in this beautiful house for an extended weekend. It’s the cleanest and best-stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is huge and has every gadget or accessory you might need—and it’s stocked with thoughtful extras like popcorn, s'mores supplies and coffee. The 4th bedroom is a little unique, but it worked perfectly for our group. It’s downstairs and isn’t accessible from inside the main house. You reach it by going down the steep driveway and a few stairs. It’s easy to find once you know it’s there, but challenging for someone with mobility issues. I spent about 5 minutes searching the top floor for it before calling the property manager—who was incredibly friendly & responsive. Everything was spotless, and the location is super convenient. We wish we had more time to enjoy the house, but we were busy celebrating with family and friends from around the world. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit Monterey!

Alyssa’s and Meghan’s place is clearly a home, with all the thoughtful touches that many AirBNBs lack. Their house manual is an excellent companion for your many adventures in the area, though you may have a hard time getting yourself to leave the cabin and the “prettyish wilderness” outside it. Would stay again. Would befriend Meghan and Alyssa.

Beautiful home and great location. We loved the warm welcome details and snacks. My son enjoyed playing with the games. The home is beautifully decorated with coastal vibes. Shops, restaurants are all within walking distance. Claire was very communicative and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic stay, optimal safe location. Next to a school but quiet. Walk away from water. Kids loved it. Costco near by. Host was quick to respond and accommodating. Had everything in the house except washer/dryer. Thanks again, and we’ll be back !!
