Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Carlton

The Hideaway House was a perfect spot for our group visit to McMinnville. Parking was easy, with street availability and space in the driveway. The house was immaculately clean, with every amenity anyone could ever need, with a bonus of a great back yard/porch/firepit to gather around in the evenings. There are beautiful fruit trees and plants on the property, and everything was in tip-top shape. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a nice getaway to wine country!

This house was a dream. Gorgeous finishes, tons of bathrooms, and great location. It is on a busy street and the backyard isn’t totally fenced, but all worth it for the location. We would definitely stay again

Perfect host, spacious and comfortable home, kid friendly!! Would highly recommend 💯 My extended family and I greatly enjoyed our vacation here! We loved the space, indoors and outside, everything was very comfortable. Kristen was friendly and responsive, with clear information at booking and check-in. I was amazed at the thoughtful supplies for young kids! A cute bedroom with toys and a bunk bed, pack and play, black out shades, and even child utensils and dishes! High quality supplies provided in the bathrooms and kitchen made this experience above and beyond. We'd definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Robert's place in Dundee was perfect - the people we were visiting were in Newberg and it's a short hop from there. Excellent wineries/tasting rooms, and an excellent breakfast place in Dundee - and close to Newberg and McMinnville for anything needed. And close enough to Portland if you wanted a five star meal or activity. Backyard was absolutely perfect and the main driver behind the rental, the hammock, fireplace and hot tub were all in beautiful shape and we took advantage of all. House was cozy and comfortable. Hosts communicative and helpful. We extended a day so that in itself is testament to how we felt about it.

David's place was great for us Washington /Oregon friends meeting for a girls trip. The house was perfect. Lots of space & two master bedrooms was awesome. Relaxing around the fire pit or visiting/playing games on the sofas was so much fun. Many amazing restaurants in the area & tons of wineries. We are already planning next year's trip.

Second time staying here and loved it. Great place, comfortable bed and couches. Perfect little kitchen for quick meals. Extremely toddler friendly!!

Our family found Janell’s home spacious and relaxing. It was a rainy weekend so we were able to enjoy the back deck and yard. It was beautiful! The kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Appreciated the fireplaces too! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We had a lovely stay at Adrienne’s place in Happy Valley, Oregon! Adrienne and his wife are such a sweet and welcoming couple—it truly felt great meeting them. The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with stunning balcony views and a refreshing breeze that made our time there extra special. The space was well-equipped with snacks and all the utensils we needed for dining, which was a thoughtful touch. When we requested it, they kindly helped us by setting up a portable air conditioning unit, which made our stay even more comfortable. They also baked and shared delicious muffins with us, which was so thoughtful and sweet—it really made us feel at home. Overall, a wonderful location, a cozy and well-maintained home, and such kind hosts. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Happy Valley area!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place and perfect for one or two people. The shower was spacious with two showerheads, the bed was comfortable, and outside area was exactly what I needed. I kept the bedroom windows open because I like to be cool, and there was very little noise, except an occasional serenade by a nearby frog. Easy to get to from the freeway, though my GPS had me on the next street over, but it was easy to figure out where I needed to be with Rebecca’s directions before I got there.

It is a wonderful place to stay when visiting portland. Within walking distance to take a bus to the train to get downtown. Within walking distance of a great butcher, market, parks.

The private entrance was a plus, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. Our host was respectful of our privacy but always available when needed. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to McMinnville.

Katya's place was a gem of a stay. Cozy and peaceful setting surrounded by a beautiful garden. The great location was walkable to coffee shops, parks, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hex Odyssey! The house was stunning and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making our arrival and departure a breeze. Our host, Lance, provided incredibly clear instructions, which made navigating the property easy. What truly made our experience special was Lance's hospitality. He was not only friendly but also incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome basket and a bottle of Argyle sparkling wine waiting for us, which added a lovely touch to our stay. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Hex Odyssey to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Great place with access to Max and a number of other activities on the Westside of Portland. We were able to navigate to a Timbers game without much trouble.

Grate place to stay at very welcoming

I spent 2 weeks at Rakshith's place and I really enjoyed my stay. The house is big and beautiful and it is located in a residential area surrounded by trees and hills. Not far from a shopping center (including a grocery store and restaurants/coffee shops) and bus stops. The bedroom is big and the bed super-comfortable. The bedroom has a balcony, a big walk-in closet and a private bathroom attached, equipped with toiletries (shampoo, soap, towels, etc.). Living room and kitchen are large and impressive. Kitchen had everything I needed and more. Rakshith was always helpful and promptly answered questions. I highly recommend Rakshith's place. I will definitely stay at his place next time I need to stay in the west Hills area.

Beautiful home and idyllic setting. Large lanais & yard dipping down to peaceful creek. Many birds, fish jumping and a deer! The pictures are accurate. Two bedrooms have en suites, & the hall bath is right by the third bedroom. Kitchen so well equipped! Hosts said help ourselves to foods in the pantry including k-pods. Cable stopped working in one bedroom & Joe took care of it right away, driving to Salem then waiting for the cable guy while we were out hiking. Location was perfect for our needs, in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go. Do the 10 waterfall hike at Silver Falls! Stunning. Great local restaurants - New Morning Bakery has excellent coffee, pastries, breads, main dishes. lol, everything was good! We went back the next day for more of the espresso brownies! Boondocks in nearby Falls City is worth the short drive, & don't miss the sweet waterfall. If you're in the Portland area, Sayler's Old Country Kitchen is an old-school steakhouse - really good. Perfect stay.

Beautiful views and layout. Well equipped kitchen. This house is a gem nestled in the Willamette wine country. The perfect place to celebrate with our daughter for her 25th birthday and graduation from Willamette Law. Memories to cherish. Marie, Mike & Francesca Muchow
