2bed/2bath, Seaside Riverfront Condo
We loved our stay here. It was on the river and beautiful. We had our 9 month old twins with us and it was on the ground floor so that was very nice and convenient. I also loved how their home was pretty baby proof for us. I am not sure if they have kiddos but there wasn't a ton of things the boys could get into ground level minus cords. So we were able to put them down on the floor and crawl and play after a day of being in a stroller. It was very nice. We absolutely loved this home!

#211 Oceanview Condo
Beautiful condo on the beach! It was quiet and wonderful. Between the comfortable bed and the ocean we slept like babies. ☺️ We had everything we needed!

The Sweetheart Cottage, Dreamy Stay Steps to Beach
Chelsea’s place was adorable. There was so much attention to detail and the home looked like it was right out of a magazine. Amazing linens, cute decor, great, fenced yard for the fur babies, and Chelsea was very responsive to any questions. I definitely recommend and would stay again and again.

160) The Tides by the Sea
What an amazing place to stay! The little details, the instructions, the comfort, not to mention the views! Wish we could stay longer!

#209 Amazing Studio Condo on the Prom by the beach
This was a great spot for our first time on the Oregon coast! The condo was nice, cozy, and clean. The bath was an excellent feature after a fun day at Seaside! This place has everything you need for a great time.

Beachfront + Panoramic Ocean Views, Near Hug Point
Beautiful location with spectacular views. Steps away from the quiet beach. Everything was perfect!

What a view! Steps to the beach & walk to town!
Five stars across the board for the coral crab. This Airbnb was exactly as pictured and described. From the beautiful views of the beach from the balcony to the short walking distance to reach the beach. Everything was clean, well labeled, and easy to find. This home was spectacularly, gorgeous. They thought of almost everything you would need. From having the cutlery and cooking wear in the kitchen if you wish to cook your own meals to a well stocked bathroom with plenty of bath sheets (my wife loved these). Even the little extra touches like having a wagon to take down to the beach. My wife and I slept on the third floor and the mini split unit kept the room at the perfect temperature to allow us to sleep. The king-size bed was very comfortable and we had no problem sleeping through the night. Excellent water pressure in every bathroom, and the tankless hot water heater ensure that everybody had hot water whenever they needed it. Loved our stay

The Gull Cottage- Steps from Downtown & Beach
It was cozy and cute, with all of the cozy coastal touches. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the location is ideal. It was a bit tight with a family of 5 and a Great Dane, but Ashley-Starr was very accommodating, and everything was thought of and addressed. A lot of thoughtfulness has gone into their recommendations and ammenities

Beachside Bungalow I Wake to Waves I Oceanfront
Super nice little spot. Great for a couple or small family. Great direct beach access and views! Despite being in a small neighborhood, it feels very private and was very clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again!

NEW! Seaside Castle | Beach | Promenade | Hot tub
Marshall was great, very responsive, and his instructions were clear. He made check in and check out an extremely smooth process. The house was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. It is a great place to stay with your family and at a great location . I recommend this place to everyone .

Seaside ⛱ cottage HOT TUB 🌊 across from BEACH 🐬
The place is so close to the coast line and the boardwalk can’t get any closer than a 7 store resort. Well there was a couple of tall resorts right in the way to see the ocean but so much easier to walk out to the promenade and shops. Brittany made sure a hot tub specialist came to clean the dirty tub during our stay. Thanks for letting us stay so close to the coast line.

Surfline Loft, A-Frame Cabin in Netarts
If I could give them 10 stars I would!! The house just felt like a home. It was beautiful. The views were phenomenal and everything was pristine. We loved the quick little walk from the house to the market to the beach! It was the perfect getaway spot! The beds are beyond comfy! And all the white linens felt clean and sophisticated! Many events can be held here! We loved the baby gate towards the loft since the steps are a little steeper than average stairs but not super hard to go up. The hot tub was a great add-on for just soaking our worries away. This place has been a very memorable experience for our family and we hope many others will have the chance to enjoy the wonderful amenities here!! Thank you again!! We will miss this house and your extremely kind hospitality!

Beach escape, 2 blocks away, sleeps 6
Heather and her family were great hosts! Their place was at a perfect location with the perfect space for 4 people. Hot tub was great and they had everything you need for cooking. Would highly recommend!

Seaside Saltbox, 2 blocks 2 sand
We had an amazing stay at Heidi’s place! Heidi was incredibly responsive and helpful from the start, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The house was perfect for our group of 8—spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described. The amenities were fantastic, and we especially appreciated the detailed description of what was provided in the kitchen—it made it super easy to plan and cook dinners at home. The backyard was a great hangout spot in the evenings, and being able to walk to the beach was a huge bonus! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our trip. Thanks again, Heidi

1BR | Deck | Full Kitchen | Walk to Beach
This cabin made for a really nice getaway for a couple nights! The info for the walk times and about the place in general was accurate and the pictures reflect the space well. I really appreciated the blackout curtains (though I found myself wishing there was a way to cover up the slits in the door) and the well stocked kitchen. The space is colorful, cheerful, and overall a very pleasant place to be! I didn’t find the bed as comfortable as most other folks have said in reviews, but that just might come down to preference! It’s on the soft side and the head of the bed seems to be lower than the foot of the bed, but maybe the mattress just needs to be rotated!

HouSEAside - Back Yard, A/C & Kid Friendly
We love staying here! Kelsey is always the best host and the area is perfect. Close to the beach and shops but private enough to be quiet and serene. We’ll be back for sure!

Your guide to Seaside
All About Seaside
Seaside represents the Oregon Coast’s take on an all-American summer getaway: Families with young kids crowd the wide stretch of beach — building sandcastles, playing volleyball, and sometimes dipping their toes in the chilly Pacific Ocean. Its compact downtown resembles a funfair, with numerous arcades, carnival rides, and candy shops overflowing with saltwater taffy. But Seaside is also still in Oregon, meaning it’s surrounded by towering evergreen forests and not as much sun as you’ll find farther south. The surfers at Seaside’s Cove beach, just south of the main drag, don’t seem to mind the cold and rain, though. Even in winter, they wear thick wetsuits to enjoy what are arguably some of the best waves on the West Coast.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Seaside
There’s no denying the weather in Seaside: It’s cool and wet for much of the year. But when the dry, sunny days of summer roll around, the beach is one of the most popular in the Pacific Northwest. July and August are typically the warmest months, when warm spells still only reach the low 60 degrees Fahrenheit. You’ll want beach gear for a warm-weather stay, though it’s still wise to pack a warm fleece for the chilly evenings.
Late fall and winter are pleasantly quiet times to visit, when the whole town gets misty and gray. Rainfall averages around 10 inches per month from November to February, when high temperatures hover in the low 50s. Freezing weather in winter is uncommon, though not impossible. Pack cozy layers and waterproof coats to come prepared for the persistent drizzle.
Top things to do in Seaside
The Promenade
This century-old beachside trail is Seaside’s most recognizable landmark. It’s lined with lampposts and borders the small downtown area. The Prom, as locals call it, gives you views of the wide beach and Tillamook Head in the distance. The defining feature of the Prom is the historic Seaside Turnaround, a traffic roundabout that was especially popular with cruising hot-rodders in the 1950s and ’60s.
Broadway Street
Kitschy souvenir stores, noisy arcades, burger joints, ice cream parlors, and candy shops line several blocks of Broadway Street, the main street in the beachfront downtown. Most of the sights and sounds that define Seaside are a few blocks in any direction. The “Greetings from Seaside” mural, which looks like a brightly colored vintage postcard, is a popular photo op.
Gearhart Golf Links
One of the oldest courses west of the Mississippi River, Gearhart plays a storied role in the history of American golf. Today, the public course remains the go-to spot for tee time on the North Coast.
