Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Cape Charles

House is very comfortable. Multiple places to relax, We also enjoyed short walks (10 min or less) to town, the beach, restaurants, and Central Park (dog and people friendly). Loved Cape Charles and Ryland’s house. Will be back.

Absolutely perfect vacation spot for a coastal getaway! We brought our dog and had a blast walking around town, to the beach, and enjoying the beautiful weather of Cape Charles. The neighborhood was quiet and in walking distance to everything in the historic downtown. The park across the street was beautiful and our pup enjoyed sniffing around! We will definitely be back.

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

An absolute dream! The Bee House was appointed ever so thoughtfully with guests in mind, from the great beds and linens, to the perfectly stocked kitchen and locally sourced gift basket, our family found everything we could ever need as arms length. The location as perfect, just steps from the park and a 5 minute walk to down town. Our stay was effortless. We all kept saying how lucky we felt to be staying here. We will all be dreaming of the relaxing front pouch until next time.

We had a really nice stay at the Rose Retreat! The home is wonderfully appointed with nice furnishings. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with upscale drink and dinnerware. The hand written welcome note, bottle of wine and snacks were so thoughtful - thank you! A perfect location from which to enjoy Irvington and the surrounding towns. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

Rachel’s place was wonderful. She provided clear instructions and the house was so clean and welcoming. Only complaint is her bathrooms only had 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - if you plan on staying I’d advise to bring your own toiletries. Other than that everything was wonderful!

Our family loved this home and would absolutely stay again! It was clean and spacious and in an amazing location. We loved the fire pit and front porch, and our kids had a blast with the toys, games, and puzzles inside. The stocked shed was a huge help, and being able to rent the golf cart was so convenient. My elderly parents greatly appreciated the first-floor bedroom. I’d highly recommend, especially for families or larger groups.

Our stay at Sundrop was amazing! Even before I made our reservation, Johanna and Danny were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Once booked, their friendly and helpful assistance continued throughout our stay. The house was perfect for our family of four. We spent the majority of our time at the beach, and felt so fortunate that the shed out back was already stocked with beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards, floaties, and coolers. We rented a golf cart, and it made getting to/from the beach and restaurants a snap! We were first timers at Cape Charles, but will definitely be coming back soon!

Wonderful hosts. Thought it might be weird staying in someone’s guest home with them right next door but was not at all. Would definitely return and stay here again. Place was very convenient to restaurant and was in a quiet neighborhood.

We had an excellent stay at the Fish House- right on the water with beautiful views and peaceful morning cups of coffee on the deck. Michelle was very responsive and provided great recommendations on everything from restaurants to kayaking spots. While the marina is a working business we did not find that it negatively impacted our stay and in fact it enhanced it since the employees there were very kind and courteous. We can't say enough about Michelle's hospitality- she has a true gift! We wanted to have direct access to abundant kayaking and this was for sure the spot to be. While we paddled the creek/inlet area we also found the Oyster Point paddling trail (just a few minutes down the road) to be a great excursion. We will be planning to return!

Good place, nice and clean, well maintained as Airbnb type, freshly colored, several things to make place beautiful. Everything was there as described no surprises. I didn’t have to ask for anything during my stay, that made stay so much smooth.

Maia’s place was super clean and comfortable, the bathroom was nice and it was exactly as described. We had a nice stay here.

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

Excellent stay. Allen was a pleasure to work with. Always responsive and quick. The place was spotless and had what we needed. The general store front door is adorable. I needed to have a work meeting through zoom while I was there and the internet was strong in the cottage. The town has spotty service. Thank you Allen. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Carla & Shannon’s place. Everything was neat and in order. The check in was super easy & flexible. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and walked around the town. They’re both very quick to reply back & we had a chance to talk with Shannon in person & she was super sweet.

Our stay here was perfect. It was exactly what we needed, and was accurately described. It is a fairly new place, and was extremely clean. There was no sulfer smell in the water, unlike the other Airbnb's we've stayed at in this area. The house and landscaping was beautiful and the decor was so tastefully well done. Bernadette was great, always friendly, and quick to respond. We hope to be able to return for another stay.

Gorgeous ocean views, great location, the balcony was the favorite spot the entire stay! Comfortable furniture, nice little cozy condo! Highly recommend the stay if you’re in the area!

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

This was the second time staying at this location. Our family loves it! You can walk to the beach, walk in town to all the shops and restaurants. I can't wait to come back! Chesapeake Properties are awesome to deal with. Thank you again for a great weekend!!

Our first time to Chincoteague Island and it was very beautiful and peaceful! In the off season, it's a great place to go for a relaxing getaway. We rented a Moke and drove around the island including Assateague Island which was lots of fun. The unit had beautiful views of the sunset and was in walking distance to some restaurants and a short drive to other restaurants and shops. The unit was very clean and exactly what the pictures showed.

Book this condo! It was the cleanest AirBnB I’ve ever rented but was still warm and comfortable. You can tell the condo is well taken care of. The neighborhood was charming. The pool was closed but the beach within the community was nearby and quiet. We were a short drive from Cape Charles town center and parking was a breeze. The host was incredibly accommodating; her restaurant recommendations were spot on. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!
