We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was exactly as described. Eugene was really responsive when communicating and super friendly! I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you again for such a relaxing place to stay!

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

Of my many Airbnb stays, Laura’s comes up with the very best. Her home is lovely, inside and out, with a lot of fun activities to choose from. Located on a beautiful creek opening to wide water gave us a chance to explore in her kayaks and paddle board. Rainy weather meant indoor board games, reading etc on the beautiful protected porch. The kitchen had all sorts of amenities for cooking. Plenty of bedrooms for sleeping in the peaceful atmosphere. I can’t wait to return there!

We had a really nice stay at the Rose Retreat! The home is wonderfully appointed with nice furnishings. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen with upscale drink and dinnerware. The hand written welcome note, bottle of wine and snacks were so thoughtful - thank you! A perfect location from which to enjoy Irvington and the surrounding towns. We hope to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the pool!

My family had the pleasure of renting this wonderful home, and I must say it exceeded all our expectations. The location was ideal, with both private and public beach access a short drive away. This home is located on a peaceful street, allowing for a good night’s rest. The house itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like a second home. The attention to detail in terms of amenities and extras was impressive. What truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional communication and hospitality provided by the host. Their instructions were clear, concise, and extremely helpful, making it easy for us to settle in and make the most of our short stay. Cape Charles is a charming town, with its quaint shops, restaurants, and theater all conveniently located on Mason Avenue, making it easy to explore and find everything we needed. We needed a peaceful, relaxing weekend away and that’s exactly what we got by choosing this AirBnB. While neighbors were close, the trees made it feel like we were secluded. The home was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the back room off the kitchen for just hanging out and chatting. Maria provided thorough details up front and was responsive during our stay. We are already planning our next trip.

This property was spacious clean and perfect for our yearly family vacation. We chose this house because of the Extra fun activities for the kids. Very helpful to have a pool, games and 3 in 1 and one pool table. Nice quiet neighborhood.

We loved our stay at Kevin and Joans place! It was very well stocked with everything our family needed for the beach trip, from a great golf cart, beach toys, chairs, toys/games for the house and all the kitchen supplies you need. the place itself was clean, thoughtfully decorated and had an amazing private backyard with a hot tub that we used every night. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Slowtide Cottage was a perfect spot for our family's vacation! The boho coastal decor throughout the home was really beautiful, comfortable and inviting- just like the photos! We loved the backyard space with the screened in porch (our kids watched TV out there every morning) and the front yard was also great for kicking the soccer ball and playing. The mattresses were all incredibly comfortable- a "must have" for us when away for a week's vacation - and it was the perfect amount of space for us to be comfortable and spread out. Overall a really fantastic home- would definitely come back again!

My family had a great stay at this place! We had no problem cooking meals at home during our trip and the kids loved the game room. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. We were able to walk around, see the local beach, and swim in the private pool. Adam was a great host and gave clear instructions during our stay. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our time at this Cape Charles home! There was a small stroller in the basement which was a nice surprise! They also had a pack n play available, which we didn’t end up needing- but grateful we didn’t have to pack our own! Overall- extremely well stocked. This home is in a great location! 5 minute walk to the beach or downtown. Directly beside the splash pad. Would definitely come back!!

VIP Cape Charles stay! You are literally steps away from the beach and can sit in your front yard and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. The house was even better than pictured, comfortable, clean and very well stocked with items that made our stay even more convenient. Host was friendly, responsive and even had a box of cookies from a local bakery sent our way as an extra warm welcome. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this Cape Charles property.

The home was amazing, stylish yet livable. Enough room for everyone. A great spot for families. It was an easy stroll to everything that Cape Charles has to offer. Yet peaceful and quiet at night. We would definitely love to go back.

Kristy’s place was so peaceful! If you are looking for a quiet space then this is the place for you! Everything from the location to the details in the home curated a calm environment. And if you need to hear a little noise Cape Charles is just a drive away! Also check out the lovely Chatham vineyard just down the road!

The house was so well located in Cape Charles—close to beach and shops. I especially appreciated the little touches (lots of hooks for towels, extra mattresses in bunk room, labeled kitchen cabinets) and the frequent communications from Brad.

5 stars! We have stayed at a number of Airbnbs in the US and Canada over the years. While we have never had a negative experience, this home exceeded ALL our expectations - a tall order indeed when traveling with 3 generations! The property struck a rare balance of serenity and fun. This was our first trip to the Chesapeake Bay and the home was a perfect example of hospitality and beauty we enjoyed around every turn of our adventure.

Our family has been coming to Cape Charles for our summer beach trip for the past 4 years. This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at! We thought it would be great based on the photos and descriptions, but they honestly cannot do justice to how beautiful the inside of the house and backyard are. As we walked in and unpacked we all just said, "WOW." The house was pristine and very well stocked. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were extremely comfortable - it's rare for all 5 of us to sleep well on a trip but we all did here. There are so many little details in the decor that we continually admired. The owners have done such a good job making this home a beautiful oasis. Our favorite part was the backyard space and the she shed, and one of my favorite parts was the waterfall shower in the master bath. The location is perfect. Right between the beach and the shops, and right across the street to the market, mini golf, and brewery. 10/10. we can't wait to book again!

Our family of 10 had a great time at Cape Cousins. Everything worked, beds were comfortable and clean. The screen porch was a great place to enjoy a breeze in the afternoon and a place for children to enjoy the grass on their toes after a day of sand and water. . Highly recommend Cape Cousins as a great place for three generations to renew family time.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful house, especially if you like a lot of room. Great location, close to the beach and restaurants, in a pretty neighborhood of historic homes. So charming. It might make you move to Cape Charles.

This was our second time staying at Jeff and Katie’s breakwater cottage. We continue to be impressed by how well thought out everything in the house is. From convenient outlets to sound machines and hanging hooks in every room. My multi-generational family is very comfortable here every year. It’s clear that this home is not “just” a rental place but a well loved home with all the amenities.

First of all, this house and the views are STUNNING. This was the first vacation that I have taken with my fiancé and our 2 pups, and we had the best time--it was such a sad day when we had to leave lol. We basically ordered Doordash and Walmart Pickups the entire time we were there and never left the property during our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cookware you could need, there are kayaks and paddle boards for entertainment, and plenty of floats for relaxing in the bay. There is a little private beach within 1 min walking distance from the house and there is access to the water from the backyard. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing vacation with our pups. I am already working on convincing my fiancé that we need to go back in the near future. 10/10 would recommend.

The Haven was truly a gem. It was so private and secluded- just what we needed to relax and reset. Ashley was so friendly and provided so many helpful accommodations that you’d typically not find elsewhere, such as complimentary coffee and a stocked s'mores station. Collectively, I think my family most enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards to explore the bay everyday. The kids absolutely loved hunting for wildlife around the house and pond. I’ll never forget this trip!
