A comfortable place to stay in Newport News, on the edge of a postwar village of English cottage homes that is quite lovely. Watch your head on the bedroom ceiling, one side is low. And the street traffic can be loud at night, but neither is much of an issue. we would stay again if available!

Frank was a great host! We hit traffic and got in super late, and he was very accommodating! We hope to head back in the future when we can actually get to stay longer and enjoy some wine!

Great spot in Bay Creek for a family stay! Quiet neighborhood, convenient to “downtown” Cape Charles by golf cart, and comfortable furnishings and living space in the condo. Would stay again!

Very nice space. Perfect team for our family. Bathrooms were different but right next to each other. Be prepared to walk up stairs to the main level. Plenty of room.

Great place, with a great view of the beach! 15-minute drive to stores, restaurants and the Hampton Convention Center. If you are allergic or uncomfortable around bees, take caution. Otherwise, it's a great spot that I would book again if I needed a place to stay in Hampton.

We were in Deltaville for the Golf Croquet World Championship games and stayed for 11 nights. We were volunteers, up and out the door early. The cottage was lovely and all equipped to support our busy schedule. In this situation hot hot water and plenty of it and big bath towels for two morning showers, nice clean fridge for a few provisions for breakfast and a good Keurig for coffee. Multiple pillow choices. The owner came by two times to check that we had enough of everything. Great location near the grocery store, and some pretty good restaurants (The Table, Deltaville Tap and Raw Bar, Deltaville Pie and in a pin h The Galley) all within walking or short driving distance. The cottage is tucked away on a beautiful street and gorgeous scenery and it's quiet. The neighborhood is nice for a walk. The Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club is an 8 minute drive from the cottage. We look forward to returning!

Mike was a great host! Always super accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the apartment. We would absolutely stay again and recommend the property to others. The location is super close to restaurants, grocery shopping, and gas stations. Also close to the highway for a weekend trip to Norfolk or VA Beach. We will be staying at Mike’s again soon.

This is a great family friendly quiet little spot a block away from the beach. There is a nice deck with view of the wetlands and marina.

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

This was perfect for our family get away! We had my husband and I our 2 children ages 12 and 1 year and my mother in law. They had even set up a baby bed for my little which I thought was very sweet. We had plenty of space for the 5 of us and wasn't far from things it was very easy to get around once we figured it out. This home was clean and nice, the neighbors were great and nice I only wish we could have told them bye but we didn't see them before we left. Peter as a host was amazing any time I messaged he got back with within great time! Very nice as well! When we come back this will definitely be our go to place!

Excellent stay. Allen was a pleasure to work with. Always responsive and quick. The place was spotless and had what we needed. The general store front door is adorable. I needed to have a work meeting through zoom while I was there and the internet was strong in the cottage. The town has spotty service. Thank you Allen. We would stay here again.

OK, Cindy‘s unit was by far the best one bedroom unit that I have stayed in. It is the second best unit I’ve stayed in overall! It was squeaky clean, very cozy and inviting, very quiet, and it was good for sleeping and relaxing.If you have the opportunity to book this unit, don’t hesitate! I will say there are a number of stairs in order to get into the unit, but other than that wow, simply wow!

Erin was a great host even texting me a few times to see if I needed anything. Will return again for sure.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rick and Christi's Airbnb. The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with direct access to the beautiful sandy beaches of Chesapeake Bay. Whether you’re into water activities, fishing, or just taking quiet walks around the serene neighborhood, this place has it all. One thing to note is that this spot is not for those seeking nearby restaurants or bars because there aren’t any in the vicinity—and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our family, including my wife and 14-year-old child, thoroughly enjoyed our time here. But what truly sets this place apart is the warm and friendly hospitality from Christi. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A lovely touch was the fresh jalapeño pepper she gave us, which we’re still using in our meals. Thank you, Christi and Rick, for making our vacation memorable.

Excellent host and excellent location! I am from Gloucester and came back to help my Father on his land. Soooo nice to be so close, great for our service dog, and such great surroundings! Apartment was extremely clean, well stocked with basics like washer/dryer and soap, extra toothpaste, etc. Loved it!!!

The Salty Sister is not the cabin we usually rent at Cross Rip. It is a converted loft studio above the garage. But it did not dissapoint. The kids had plenty of room in the king bed and the pull out couch was enough for me. If you are new to the campground you may want to rent an actual cabin. But this is a campground so we are always prepared to “rough it” a little. The fenced in back yard is private enough and has a great view of the cove. Very peaceful. And you are just a short walk to the beach!
