We really enjoyed our stay. Our kiddos loved all the animals and the soccer field. Hot tub was a huge perk as it was thunder storming the whole time so we weren’t able to enjoy the lake. It was really great to unplug and be present with our kids and family, play cards, enjoy the camp fire and each other’s company over home made meals. It was the perfect retreat that we all needed.

absolutely beautiful location, me and my wife loved our luxurious stay at the saltwater retreat. we enjoyed the sauna and Japanese tub. we drank our coffee by the ocean and watched the boats go by. it felt very private, like we had our very own spa. host was great, very responsive and helpful, clear instructions. house was stocked with cooking oil and spices, shampoo and conditioner and more! very nice location. very close to town to pickup groceries and see the sights, host provided helpful recommendations to local eats and hikes. would love to return one day!!

Great peaceful place for a small getaway.

My husband and I had a very nice and peaceful stay. We are so happy we got to spend the weekend connecting, exploring and definitely relaxing in the hot tub!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice and clean. The area was beautiful and it just felt really relaxing. We loved the adventures on Bowen Island.

We can’t say enough great things about this place in Golden. It is serene and allowed us some decompression time. My favorite spot is on the deck looking out over the mountains that are in the backdrop and having coffee or wine, as the time of day dictates. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was squeaky clean and there were directions placed in a helpful manner along with a guidebook that went into greater detail. It’s a long way from TN, but we felt right at home and hope to return in the near future.🥰

The pictures on Leigh’s posting do not do her cozy cottage justice! The location was perfect - a short path to the lake, surrounded by nature, all of the amenities you need for a restful and relaxing stay! We will definitely be back!

We didn’t realize the cottage was attached to another. But it worked out well. Grant was great and we felt it was private… just closer than expected. The lake is across a seldom used road. We could not have had a nicer host.

This is the 5th year we have rented Stefano's cottage. I am hard-pressed to find anything negative to say. The cottage is spectacularly beautiful, inside and out. The architecture is decidedly modern, but clearly fits in the surroundings of trees and the lake. Inside it is very cozy with neutral colours and great for either relaxing with a book and a coffee (or a bottle of wine!), a games night or an outdoor BBQ after a swim, a paddle or a hike. It is superbly quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all, yet keep the creature comforts, grocer a short drive; walking trails nearby, lakes are everywhere and the autumn leaves are nothing short of spectacular. Stefano is very accommodating in terms of providing information or answering questions, if any. We love the place so much I am hesitating to give it such a good review for fear of lots of people discovering it - I want to keep it my own hidden gem. But Stefano deserves an excellent review. Thank you Stefano, as always.

The place was absolutely amazing, as voiced by the other reviews too. The inside was immaculate, very wood themed and vintage including the utensils, bed, books, everything. It was easy to access, and fun to stay in. Had bonfire on the property and met another couple staying right next to us. The amenities were exactly as stated- got a couple of eggs too, and got to see the hens one early morning. Its secluded but not cut off, vintage pretty and kinda out of the world. Reg was very friendly- gave awesome recommendations, and responded within minutes always. 10/10 would visit again. Ps my partner saw a spider web in a corner of the washroom and freaked so got a laugh out of that as well but no spiders and more importantly no ghosts in this cabin in the woods thankfully 💯💯💯

Great place for anyone looking for a little getaway. Quiet, relaxing, and so cozy on the patio and in the space. Highly recommend!!

Needed a weekend to unplug and spend some time away from work. The cabin was lovely. Trails were well labeled. Instructions on how to operate and navigate the amenities were helpful and clearly laid out. Would recommend if you’re looking for a weekend escape.

Leah was so sweet when I had to check out early. My early check out was 100% for personal reasons and had nothing to do with the space or my host. She kindly sent along a partial refund (which is not expected or asked for) which was very sweet and compassionate. The space itself was just adorable and I really appreciated the bud vases of fresh cut flowers placed in the window and on the picnic table. All signage and directions were clear and easy to locate :) I look forward to staying again in the fall ❤️

We had an amazing time at Darryls little cabin! The site was secluded, beach nearby, tall grass with elk herds grazing early morning… the cabin was clearly carefully and thoughtfully built with everything thats necessary… Checkin was a breeze, checkout was a breeze, and Darryl came down to say hello upon my sos with the bbq within a min. I will definitely come back in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. The grill area, canoes, paddle boards, and the inviting fire pits (with plenty of wood!) added so much fun. Thank you to the wonderful host—we can’t wait to come back!

It was our second stay at the cabin and we will be back! Such an amazing view right in the middle of amazing bike trails!

Jessica’s place was absolutely incredible! The design and layout were stunning. It was a perfect blend of modern and cozy. The Airbnb had everything we needed and even more. From a fully stocked kitchen to the most comfortable duvet and mattress, it was like living in our own home. And let’s not forget the BBQ! Jessica gave us a fantastic welcome package with coffee and delicious treats. Her recommendations were spot-on, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived.

My husband I used to be “locals” who lived not far from this fabulous property! We have been staying here for the last 10 years and it’s always better than the time before! It’s a beautiful peaceful unique property where we can enjoy the abundance of nature and the local wildlife. The cabin is authentic, cozy and just the amount of comfort and convenience. We can simply relax and enjoy ourselves here! Margret is a perfect host. She values our privacy at the same time makes sure we have everything we need and more! Still our favourite AirBnb experience!
