What an amazing place! Keeping the beauty of such a historical building felt like we were stepping back in time. Lots of room for all 6 of us and especially appreciated the kitchen . In a great location to explore the outdoors . Beautiful location! We loved the place and had an amazing time! Loved the amenities especially the pool. The beauty and peacefulness of the place is hard to describe.

Beautiful property in great location, peaceful surroundings. Perfect place for a quiet holiday and active holiday with the family. Right on the doorstep of Loch Ness. Rebecca and John were great hosts, we felt just like home. Comfortable beds 5 ⭐️ for their hospitality. Thank you for making our stay so restful. We will be back soon

Just had 3 wonderful days in Lockie Cottage with my sister,the cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay.Alison along with her husband Ian really looked after us(we needed it).Alison showed us around the estate as much as two ladies in their seventies could manage.The space around the cottage is so beautiful and peaceful i didn't want to leave. Thank you Ian for taking our luggage to the car and for checking our tyres before our journey home,thank you Alisonfor all the information you gave us about the surrounding area and thank you for the laughs we had, you really are alovely host.I really hope we get another chance to stay there.xFreda&Jen

What a magical place to spend time relaxing! The abbey and apartments are stunning. With lounge windows facing Loch Ness, a large bathroom with a claw foot bath, a substantial master bedroom and separate twin room, it really was a home from home. Fort Augustus is centrally located, and a beautiful little village. We hired a car and travelled extensively through the Highlands. Glencoe is around an hour away, Ben Nevis around 45 minutes, Inverness around 40 minutes, and Balmoral Castle was 2.5 hours away with a spectacular drive through the Cairngorms. I absolutely recommend staying here as your base. You will not regret it. The only thing I would caution is the apartment is on the top floor. This means climbing 6 flights of stairs. There is no lift, so bear this in mind if you have anyone with mobility issues travelling with you. Jonathan, the host, is fantastic in all his communication. Nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be coming back!
