Very clear instructions, had all the amenities needed and cute, wooly neighbours! It was a great stay.

Highly recommend visiting this cottage! It is a bit dated (last updated 90s perhaps) but it is still very clean and was recently painted so it’s not unwelcoming. Bathroom is very clean and fine though not very modern. The amenities all worked out fine and the kitchen is big enough to cook properly. However what truly takes the cake is the incredible view over Loch Ness and the quiet that comes with it. Perfect for a getaway if you just want to relax!

We had a wonderful stay at Brooklands — a perfect location for a family retreat and more. The house is tucked away in a peaceful spot, surrounded by forest and small fields, creating a cozy, nature-filled atmosphere. The home is spacious and well-equipped with everything you might need — from kitchen essentials to comfortable bedding and bath supplies. We visited with our infant and felt completely at ease. If you're arriving by bus, get off at the Shinty Field stop — it’s the closest to Brooklands. Urquhart Castle is also just a 30-minute walk away, making it a great day trip on foot. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the Highlands!
