Kenneth’s cabin was even better in person, and a peaceful retreat to come back to after full days of exploring southern Illinois. Lots of hooks and outlets are some of the thoughtful details. The location down a secluded lane was just what we like. Kenneth and Diane were both responsive and friendly. They even happily accommodated an unexpected request. We highly recommend and would like to visit again.

Wonderful experience for our family! Would definitely recommend to others. Only criticism is that the lake was grown over with moss so we had to travel to fish. The host was wonderful and easy to reach.

The cottage was such a great find! Joan sent detailed directions on getting to the cottage that were perfect (being the house is on a country road you might not be sure the GPS is taking you the right way, so Joan’s details really helped.) The area is quiet and beautiful and the cottage is exactly as it is pictured! We came to the area to run a marathon on the Tunnel Hill Trail and staying at the cottage was just perfect for us. The bed and bedding were so comfortable! Even though the cottage is located behind the main residence, we never heard or saw anyone. It was quiet and private. If we ever make it back to Vienna we will definitely stay at the cottage again.

Perfect place to enjoy the area. The house was awesome and Karmela has thought of everything. Will stay again!
