Cabin vacation rentals in Brown County

We had a great time and the house was wonderful! The house has everything you need to cook and we enjoyed dinner at the cabin most nights. The house is only a few minutes to multiple restaurants and shops! The house was large and more than enough space for our family! The kids loved the creek and mom and dad enjoyed the hot tub!

Samuel was very responsive, gave us an early check-in, and great recommendations for places to eat. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, we enjoyed the fire pit and watching all of the wildlife. Sheets were super soft, and there was an abundance of towels!! Kitchen was fully stocked. My only complaint, if any, was having to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedrooms. Makes it harder to get through the house, but a minor inconvenience to enjoy the property. Thanks for the stay!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Nature's Nest! It was so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. We spent tons of time out on the deck chatting and listening to the bird song, watching the fireflies, etc. The house was very clean and had everything you could want. Although we did not use it, the hot tub looked great and the grill area was very spacious. There was lots of seating and cooking space available! The beds were comfortable and we slept great because it was so quiet. I really enjoy the short drive to and from Nashville. The country roads and the scenery on the way are beautiful. We will definitely be making this a regular stay.

We were looking for a place last minute for my mom and I to stay while we attended my uncle's funeral. we did not have any idea what nashville was we just saw it was close to columbus and had a hot tub. let me just tell you how amazing Angela and her cabin was.... we booked at 10:30 pm the night before. I know, I know. like ordering a well done Ribeye 5 minutes before close. Angela took it upon herself to make sure the house was clean despite thinking she had no renters for a few days and the last guest checking out that morning. the cabin was so cozy and peaceful. in such a stressful and emotional time it was our calming place. mom absolutely loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek. Angela was so amazing would definitely stay there again. and probably will. thanks Angela for going above and beyond in a high stress moment.

Peaceful, serene spot. Saw a deer just a few feet from the porch. Be aware no cell signal, but Wi-Fi is good and fast. Host is responsive to all inquiries, would recommend!

Three of my brothers and myself stayed at the cabin from Nov 7 - 10, we were in town to attend the Indiana vs Michigan football game. the cabin was as advertised and was a perfect match for us, we each had our own bedroom and private bathroom, the cabin is a couple miles off the beaten path, it was very quiet, secluded, the cabin was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Our hosts Peter and Suzanne, answered our questions promptly and provided lots of information. would recommend the cabin

Cozy cottage with all the amenities you need. Hot tub under the full moon was so relaxing! Eric was a gracious host.

This place was exactly what we were hoping for! This is the perfect, charming cabin for a gateway. We loved getting out in nature, sitting on the porches, and enjoying the serene countryside. We will be back!

A really cozy cabin! My mom and I loved the space and felt very comfortable during our stay. I must mention that there are no anti slip grips on the tub, so be careful in the shower! I also wish there was a little less grit in the bottom of the hot tub, but I understand that can’t always be helped and all other aspects were clean. Overall: wow. We got to spend time in the hot tub, listened for birds on the porch, and enjoyed our short drive to Nashville for shopping and good eats! (Hard Truth Distilling and Ferguson House were faves.) The place was clean and well organized.

We love to stay at the cabin when we’re in Brown County. It’s peaceful and secluded while still close to Nashville and other sites. I super appreciate being able to take our little dogs, and we joke about the dogs thinking it’s our vacation house since they’ve been there enough times to feel comfortable right away.

We loved our overnight getaway at Red Cedar. The location was wonderful, super easy check in, and had everything we needed. Marissa and her team went above and beyond with extra snacks and goodies for us upon arrival, even wishing us a happy anniversary. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay in the woods with Eric, would 10/10 recommend

While this place can be a little tricky to find, and has a steep drive up gravel to the cabin, it was well worth the effort. Our family reunion had plenty of space to spread out, and the screened in porch and pool table were a big hit. There's a bit of hiking on the property and near by...and shopping in Nashville IN is a fun diversion. Eric's place served us well.

The Acre Ridge Cabin did not disappoint! We were looking for quiet and seclusion…We found it! Seldom did we hear any noise from passing cars or neighbors. We spent time exploring the woods and the little guy loved playing in the small creek. Everyone enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. We also prepared and ate every meal except one in the well-appointed kitchen. The “Happy Jar Salsa” and taco chips were a tasty surprise! There were no kitchen gadgets that we were without (there was even an ice cream scoop). The beds were comfortable! We enjoyed reading books in the solarium and listening to the rain. We appreciated the firewood being delivered in advance of our visit. Sitting around the campfire telling ghost stories on Friday the 13th was spooky but fun. The supplies you provided to make s’mores came in handy. Thanks for offering us the extra night. Even with that we were not ready to leave. All in all, quite pleasurable. We would return when another quiet trip to the woods is needed.

Everything was very comfortable and clean! The cabin was adorable, hot tub was squeaky clean, and the little gift basket was just an added bonus! Would recommend!

Great place and wonderful scenery. The place is equipped with everything you’ll need. Nature is right at your fingertips with crows, hummingbirds, deer turkeys nearby. We also got to see mama turtle laying her eggs up near the house.

The Big Easy fit all our needs. The kitchen was more than adequate and the bedrooms were all large with great beds. The location is really lovely and just a few miles from Nashville. We enjoyed our time there.

This was a great place for our group of guys to stay. They had charging ports all throughout the house, which came in handy. They Wi-Fi worked with no issues and was good enough for us to stream to their tv from our devices. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The only constructive feedback I would give would be to add a shower wand to the downstairs bathroom. I'm 6'4" and the shower head height was only around 5'8" and pointed straight down. The pool table was a bit small, but playable. I would lose the foosball and upgrade to an 8-foot table. Also, I'm guessing guests lose them, but it would be nice if the foosball table had the correct type of ball instead of just using ping pong balls. This was a great cabin, with huge decks, a hot tub and beautiful views. We loved every minute of it and would definitely book again in the future. EXCELLENT PROPERTY!

My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. This beautiful place and area is amazing! We loved everything about our stay. My husband caught a few fish, we hiked one of the trails and enjoyed the hot tub as well. We loved it so much here that we didn't want to leave. We plan on coming back again for sure! Absolutely gorgeous rural property. Very secluded. The space is clean and cozy. If you wanted a little slice of heaven, this would be your spot. Not only is the property gorgeous but the home is unique with lots of space. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Just the kind of place my daughters and myself were looking for! We are lovers of nature and all the beauty it brings to our lives, mentally and spiritually. We hope to be back soon. I just can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed it!
